It's heartbreaking to lose someone you love especially if that loved one was a child. Today, a five-year old girl was taken from her family. It was a depressing scene to watch the mother mourn and hug her child's lifeless body. Nothing can really be done but to comfort a grieving mother. I've seen many deaths but I was always been affected the most for a passing child. I can't help to think what future could that child have if she survived her sickness.
On the other note, I realized that the mother was in control of her emotions. After grieving for her child, she came to us and asked for assistance for her child's death certificate. I knew it was hard on her, seeing her tear-stricken, puffy eyes but she already tried to make a decision to move on. I hope for their fast recovery. :(
