Spent the day in London yesterday seeing The Tempest at The Globe, starring Merlin himself, Mr Colin Morgan, as Ariel. It was most excellent \o/

I've had a wonderful few days. I've met friends for dinner, been up to London to visit the V&A museum and the Museum of London and 'let' mum take me shopping. And on top of all that I've even had lap-cuddles from my psychotic cat!!!

☆ Is anyone else watching The Newsroom? It's like being hit by a sledgehammer, but somehow I'm still enjoying it.

☆ My favourite non-animal testing (and 3-free) make-up company Illamasqua are having a sale so I'm being forced to give them all my money! Damn you sweet nail varnish temptation.

☆ Fox News not being allowed on Canadian TV sounds like a very good thing. As does Muppets being anti-homophobes :)

☆ I'm going to start working my way through the Comic Con panels tonight. SPN first. Any recs on what next?

☆ There's some amazing J2 fic being posted! My recent faves have been bertee's OMG SO MUCH FUN I WANT HER BRAIN big bang fic Beginner's Luck and tryfanstone's atmospheric Wolflord.

☆ YAY. Look what I made. Next up is learning how to zoom!

Instead of spending yesterday in a nationalistic fervour, I nerded out with my friend by re-watching all of Firefly and the Serenity movie whilst he cleared viruses off my laptop and I ate sushi. Good times.

Talking of Whedon, unpopular opinion but I THINK CABIN IN THE WOODS IS MORE ENJOYABLE THAN THE AVENGERS. There. I said it. Come at me :P

Also moorspede relevant to our fangirl interests, Nathan Fillion said this "When pressed on who of the cast is the best Shakespearean actor, Fillion doesn’t miss a beat, “Alexis Denisof – the guy will make you cry…”."

Adam Lambert is currently in London, now doubt looking wonderful and being all cupcakey-of-a-person and I cant go stalk see him because of family obligations ;__;

So I shall have to make do with watching his THX 118 meets 80s neon realness video over and over again!


Did anyone watch Mad Men this week?[Spoiler]
OMG Laaaaaaane. And yet I still think it's gonna be Don that's the falling man in the title sequence. Also I'll be very sad if Peggy has left for good. She kicked-ass.
