The .iq domain extension is the official country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Republic of Iraq. Managed by the Communications and Media Commission (CMC) of Iraq, a .iq web address provides an authoritative online presence for businesses, government entities, educational institutions, and organizations operating in or expanding into the Iraqi market. Registration is currently only possible for entities that hold a registered trademark valid in Iraq. The trademark holder may be either an Iraqi-based company or a foreign entity.
