  • Blackboard Downtime: September 5, 2 A.M. - 4 A.M. (Friday, June 19, 2026)

    Blackboard will be unavailable September 5, 2026 from 2:00 A.M. to 4 A.M. 


    Blackboard is modernizing the infrastructure that supports Blackboard LMS to improve security, reliability, and long‑term scalability. The upgraded infrastructure is designed to standardize environments globally, meet higher security requirements, and improve operational consistency. This infrastructure is built on IL4 security standards, and with this upgrade all client environments will operate at higher compliance security standards.


    This upgrade requires approximately two hours of downtime, on September 5, 2026 from 2:00 A.M. to 4 A.M. Blackboard will be unavailable at this time.
