Sláine - Warriors of the Earth tribes

 

Hey all ! So I managed to finish the last project for 2023 out of nowhere ! Having tidied the desktop a bit because I was feeling overwhelmed, I took the opportunity to put some comitments back to the front and mongst those this Band of Erth tribe warriors for a gaming week end later in March ! I had first painted Sláine a while ago after playing the first 3 scenarii of the book and since we're going to Tir Nan Og for our reunion, I obviously picked the Erth tribes and more precisely the Sessair !

Hey everyone !

Today's entry is a litle breal from painting 22 models at a time ! I was recently on holidays in Ireland and had the opportunity to meet some dear friends of mine, I'm not going to tell you about how wonderful the country was but one unexpected bonus was coming back with a model of Sláine, eponymous hero of one of the comics from my youth (I even had a pair of yellow tartan cargo shorts).

Alright, now BOYL is closing in and I still have a few things left to prepare and models to complete but I'm getting there ! One of the models I needed was a Search and Destroy agent AKA Stontium Dog to play a game hosted by my pal Michael involving catching bounties and killing nazis ! How could anyone say no to that ?

HE IS THE LAW ! - Champions of Law Season 2

As always, the champions of Law are my happy modelling place and though I'm not working as quickly on this 2nd seasonas with the previous one, I have many ideas of things that motivate me.

Amongst many ideas suggested to me, there was one whih always was a bit obvious : the link with Judge Dredd.

Just what other character apart from Dredd can you think of as an embodiment of Law it self ?
