Breakdown Replacement Vehicles

We always aim to provide a like for like model where possible however due to a continually updated fleet along with many customers to support, we cannot guarantee this. If you have a licenced chauffeur vehicle, you will receive another licenced vehicle from us even if the model may vary.

No, this service will be offered to complimentary as part of your vehicle warranty.  You may be offered the opportunity at times to buy enhanced products for your hire and this would be charged directly to you at an additional cost along with any ancillary charges but the supply of the vehicle itself is complimentary.

You are more than welcome to leave the vehicle with your repairing dealer or space, for an LCH representative to collect. However, you will remain responsible for the vehicle until collection takes place so we always suggest taking lots of photos and videos of the condition in which it is left.

Private Hire Vehicles

Since 2004 a core part of our business has been working alongside the chauffeur industry to support them with high quality, luxury vehicles delivered with immaculate standards. In 2025, towards the end of our 20th year we made the difficult decision due to our ever changing operational needs to close this chapter. Whilst we no longer working within the chauffeur industry to supply replacement vehicles to individuals or companies, for those customers who have provided frequent hires over the years, we thank you very much for your custom and long term trust.

General

Yes, we require a copy of your photocard driving licence and occasionally a utility bill. We need to carry out a DVLA check and to do this we usually either ask you to provide a check code from the DVLA or your national insurance number so that we can run the check. We may ask for additional documentation but as a minimum, we require these before we can deliver the vehicle.

LCH do not take a deposit or payment for our breakdown customers, but you will be required to provide your card details for an active card check to take place that will establish a connection with your bank for £0 with no associated charge. Please note that if there are any charges at the end of your hire, LCH will attempt to contact you directly to discuss this.

LCH process all collection inspections carefully and at times, you may be advised new damage has been noted. Please note that this does not mean you are being charged and until you are specifically informed by phone or email of a cost associated, there is no need to contact us.

Careers & Recruitment

We have 3 operational departments – Customer Service, Fleet & Compliance and Transport & Logistics. These are supported by our Commercial and Sales teams, as well as Finance, HR and IT.

Most roles are based in our head office at Centennial Park, Elstree, however our Transport & Logistics team is based across the UK (including Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Coventry, Cheltenham and Guildford).

We appreciate the time you have taken to apply to LCH, so we like to make sure your application is read through in detail. With this in mind, please allow us up to 14 working days to review your application before we respond. We always want to ensure that we hire the best talent the market has to offer, so we have a few stages to our recruitment process. This also helps ensure that LCH is the right place for you. The first step is for an initial screening call with our HR team. If you are successful in passing this, you will then have at least 1 structured interview with the hiring manager (which is normally face to face, but is sometimes done via video call) and some roles will require a further interview and presentation.

Whilst we don’t tend to wear suits and ties, we would expect all candidates to come to the interview looking smart and professional.

This depends on where the vacancy is based that you have applied for.

For office based roles, the interview will be held at our head office in Centennial Park, Elstree. For Driver roles, these may be held at Centennial Park or they may be held over Video call.

We have visitor parking at Centennial Park, directly in front of our office.
