I FORGOT TO SIGN UP FOR MY FAVORITE BIZARRO WEIRD FANDOM!!!! AND IT'S TOOOO LATE! I SHOULD HAVE SIGNED UP EARLIER SO I COULD HAVE REMEMBERED!!!! NOOOO!!!!!
Argh Argh Argh. During "Glee" I freaked out and thought I had forgotten to select a character for one of my requests, but no, I'm just a spazz.
Oh, well, no one actually requested the bizarro weird fandom, so, well then. Right.
I really hope I get matched with something super weird... I'll be happy writing in anything I signed up for, I think, but if I get handed something where I don't even know how to begin... that will be an exciting challenge.
I've started back into "Friday Night Lights" so that I can be caught up in case I get that for yuletide! Also because <3 <3 <3 <3 I'm on 3x06, and totally amused that I just went from the "Glee" episode about wheelchairs to Billy Riggins on FNL making hilariously bone headed comments wrt wheelchairs. :-)
I feel kind of weird that only of my Yuletide requests is actually a super rare fandom... though I didn't ask for any White Collar or Leverage! Love to both shows and all the fans, but when Peter saw "White Collar" was on the list he went on an adorable rant about how the show is so gay that it's really just a present to yourself to write it, or something, how it's not in the "write something you wouldn't normally write". It was all in good humor, and hilarious. It makes me so ridiculously happy when he understands fandom stuff, especially when he brings it up unprompted! He pays attention to my world! i purposefully watch various things in front of him, he is easily distracted. Oh, I am getting all mushy about Peter now! ( Read more...Collapse )
I think I need an LJ icon of tim riggins in a bright yellow hard hat from this episode, yes i do.
Anyway, on to what I offered for Yuletide:
In all, 61 things.
Most surprising: how little of it is TV/movies
most amusing: on one album, i didn't actually want to write all the songs, so i did two batches of chosing for 4 songs. seeing them listed up in the possible combinations, which looks for all the world like songs being slashed together, is just hilarious.
3 things i have no idea how i will write! one i'm not sure is possible to write?
3 are feature films. 2 are televison series. How is that so low? 7 are songs or albums. A bunch are plays, a bunch is legend/myth, and some books, mostly things i haven't read since childhood. Another surprising thing is how much RPF I signed up for, given my very very strict rules about who it is acceptable for me to write RPF about. (People definitly not on the list: my poker buddy's ex. yes, it's true, she's on there). And... some stuff rare enough that describing it would be spoilery. I'll post my list come new years. :-)
