Dear Santa/yulegoat,

First off, thank you so much! You're awesome. I wish i could give you detailed analysis of my likes and dislikes the way some people do, but... i just don't know. I probably read a lot less fanfic than most people in yuletide. I am pretty easy going. I like characters more than plot, but plot is cool. I like people loving each other, especially if they express it in nonconventional ways. I am kind of a big sap; I cried watching "Glee" last week. Despite having requested two different high school shows, i am not actually that into HS shows, I just happen to love these ones. I like clever and witty. I like twists where I can find the foreshadowing without it being super obvious. I like forgiveness and growth. I really, really love watching people grow into better, more complex, more kind and good people, in real life, on TV, in fic, everywhere. I'm not a fan of character bashing, thanks!

I don't like relationships with a lot of inherent power imbalances, like teacher/student or much incest. I'm not looking for fucked up relationships for yuletide. Other times of the year, sure, but not for reading on Christmas Day.

What do I want most from you? I want a smile to carry me through the day.
