Oh, should anyone be interested, and many of y'all knew who they were, unfortunately the best hounds of hell in the world passed, Bear E. White & Xena, within 24 hours of each other. I loved Xena with everything, but y'all know that Bear E. White was my heart. We're still just stunned and sad....

Just came back from the beach, first time in 10 years....Sun block is a joke, as I'm burnt to a crisp, but at least I look like a pre-cooked lobster vs cooked lobster.

Thanksgiving isn't traditionally a holiday that my family goes out of it's way for. Being in the hospitality industry (i.e., temping for mt. doom), I have worked many turkey days, and well....quite frankly have had too many Thanksgivings that were in honesty scripted to be a bad family intervention that just happens to have pie.

But this year it's important to me to express my gratefulness. This year, as I have mentioned before, has been very tough for my family and I. I hate talking about it, as I just don't want to be doom and gloom all the time; but it all still happened, but the point is we're still standing, we're still kicking ass, and most importantly, we're fresh out of lollipops ;)

So, should y'all give two shit, I am grateful for the following:

1.)MY FATHER!!!!! He is alive, and soon will be healthy again. Considering everything that poor man had to go through last month with his triple by-pass as well as the recovery process...seriously, I am so grateful to see him beginning to come to the other side of it all. What we went through, especially while in the hospital (seriously guys, y'all wouldn't believe that shit, can we say malpractice boys and girls?), I wouldn't even wish on my most plotted upon foes.

2.)ME. Yeah, I said it, and proclaim it in all of my narcissistic glory,lolz. Point blank people, I learned that I am cancer free, after enduring months with doctors thinking the opposite. I have never loved my breasts as much as I do today. Now, if I could just shake my turrets issues.

3.)LOVE....oh, just shuddup.

4.)FRIENDSHIP. Oh yeah, now the good shit,lol. I love my friends, all of them. Those who live on the same street as I, those who I only see every few weeks, those I email when I miss, those who forward me stupid texts, and especially those that for some reason choose to share pieces of their lives with me, whether it be over coffee, or a flist update.

HAhahaha, Guess it doesn't suck all the time.

D has his quadrupal bypass this Tuesday. It's a loooooot sooner than we were expecting. The house is in a total state of clusterfuck with trying to get everything ready, and my stomach is one giant knot. We're obviously trying to maintain the air of optimism, and so far have succeeded, but it's more because I just wont allow myself to think of any other scenario.

We have been informed that D will need\/ and will be having quadruple bypass surgery within the next month and a half. He is basically averaging all around 85% blockage, so angioplasty is flat out no longer an option.

I have been asked to not tell my grandmother anything due to my last aunt dying two weeks ago, and D just doesn't want to add to her stress, i.e. his stress, but she knows something is up within our household, just not what. I keep telling him a mother always knows. He says to tell her I'm preggers to throw her off his scent...a little funny, just not really.

Seriously, loving 2008...not so much,lolz.

We're all just trying to remember to breath right now....and to honestly keep our faith in each other, and the strength of our family and all that blah blah blah. I also keep trying to remind myself that saying of god doesn't close a door without opening a window stuff, but it's starting to get a bit stuffy in here o_0,lol.

Then again, i could never get that man to take a vacation; remember kids, don't wish too hard.

For the last 5 years, or how ever many, I have been telling people that I am five feet and five inches, maybe even 5'6\" tall.

P.s....Have been watching movies like a fiend the past two weeks due to weird insomnia again.

Next I plan to knock out Sweeney Todd as well as There Will Be blood.

I think many would have responded better if this were a cut and dry case of black and white regarding one issue in particular, but of course nothing can be easy on the webernets and this situation included too many issues of sensitivity which led to various interpretations of areas of gray.

On one hand you have a legitimate concern over online predators. Being that I have quite a few parents here on my Flist, I have read the measures you have taken to protect your children from the cyber perves. That makes me proud of y'all for not only protecting your children, but for also taking the responsibility of your children in your hands instead of pulling a Ms. Rev Lovejoy (you know \"won't somebody please think about the children!!!!\")while throwing the responsibility into someone else's hands, i.e. this site itself. Trust me, not all parents do this.
But we know despite everyone's best intentions, there are indeed pervs out there, bad ones, not just pervs at heart like us ;), so again, it is a legitimate concern...but.....

I find it odd (meh, fishy really)that you( LJ\/6apt) were previously offered help by more reputable and legitimate (i.e. not bat shit crazy) organizations such as perverted justice, and you declined the offer choosing to police your own house. Well, we all know how in control LJ abuse is <--(yes, it reeks of sarcasm,lolz), but I digress about abuse at this moment. So why heed the threats of a one woman crusade who is a proven right winged, homophobic, racist, confederate militia supporter, one with God on her side (seriously, can you really take the \"redneck mafia\" seriously,LOLZ)? My answer is coming in one more second...I promise :)

LJ pretty much prematurely blew their wad with a knee jerk reaction instead of using their own instituted TOS\/Abuse policies to handle the situation which is why this pretty much blew up such a way that makes LJ Drama salivate with glee.

Well, y'all know by know I'm one of those people who support free speech, plain and simple. It's hypocrisy to allow one group free reign while shutting down the other because you don't agree with what they have to say.
It's like the Aryan Nation. I think they're all a bunch of hateful ignorant cocksuckers, but I'll defend their right to spew stupidity. Ditto w\/ WFI. I don't agree with her tactics (such as keyword searches only without review the content in entirety), but she does have every right to bitch and moan like every other American, regardless of how retarded it is.
