have you read this one?

BBC Sherlock: Applied Linguistics by what_alchemy. Romance, Holmes-style. It's beautifully written, with a strong Sherlock voice (be prepared to be trapped in his skull for the duration), a bang-on John, and a believable misunderstanding as hook. Given Sherlock's habit of knocking away his intermediate inferences and presenting his final conclusions, I can absolutely see this happening. (English, Sherlock, do you speak it?) There's also a very satisfying happy ending (obviously, this is me) that left me purring. :) Highly recommended.
Two Points, by Speranza. Come for the brilliant Sherlock voice, stay for the John Who Pwns. :)

Is now here, because [personal profile] copperbadge has written a brilliant thing called The .DOC File of J Alfred Prufrock, inspired by (as if you couldn't guess) T.S. Eliot's The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.

Go read the sparkly. :D
