In fluffier news, this story I'm working on is going to be very long indeed. I'm already at 35K words, so we're looking at a novella at least at this point. WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME? A little anti-Reichenbach story to ease the ache in my heart, I thought. Oh, no. God forbid I do anything simple or short. Hell, St. Julien's has a cameo. Highlander fans will get that reference. ;) I'm glad I'm writing right now, though. Thank God for the distraction. This does mean more work for my beta, though, and I hope she is willing to take on the wandering, self-indulgent mess this will no doubt turn out to be.

I've already made up my mind to write a little Sherlock-returns post-Reichenbach story that doesn't ignore canon like my 26 Pieces pocketverse does; hopefully that WILL be short, simple and schmoopy beyond belief. Yes. Schmoop is what I need.

Also Snips. Snips must be finished.
