Learn Before You Build

Real Answers. Real Numbers.

We believe homeowners deserve honest information before committing to a remodel. That’s why our FAQs and short articles break down actual project costs, timelines, and what to expect—without vague “it depends” answers.

What does a kitchen remodel really cost in today’s market?

A kitchen remodel is expensive. For a guideline, we recently completed a kitchen and dining expansion in Medfield which called for refinished cabinets, expanding a pantry, removing a load bearing wall, building an island, reworking a lighting and heating package, plus a few more items. That project cost was $60,000.

Smaller projects can take 4 weeks with a more extensive remodel being 16 weeks.

For remodeling projects you usually can stay. It will be disruptive to your normal routine. We can help plan for a small temporary food prep station, and block off work zones from small kiddos. Our goal is to get you back into your space as soon as possible. If there will be prolonged impact to heat, water service, electric, etc, we might ask you to take a long weekend away.
