Sleeman breweries resumed its operations in 1998 after it was closed in 1933. Currently, the company is enjoying success as its brands have been performing exceptionally well in the market since its reopening. Moreover, Sleeman growth has enabled it to form mergers and acquisitions which have helped the company to increase its presence in different markets and regions around the country. As such, this task aims to analyze the financial performance of the company for three financial years dating from 1997 to 1999; project the company financial statements for the next three years; and then provide recommendations which can shape the company course of action in the coming years. However, recent studies indicate that the enormous costs of workplace violence are becoming progressively more apparent. Although incidences of workplace violence have been documented in different work environments, reports indicate that women have been on receiving end with some sectors such as health and public employment being one of the main areas exposed it.
Workplace violence refers to “violence or the threat of violence directed at someone on duty or at work”. Usually workplace violence is perpetrated in form of simple assault but it can range from physical assault, bullying, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, and homicide.  The rising levels of workplace violence are considered in different quarters as a reflection of the increasing incidences of violence in facets of social life

Small and medium sized enterprises in the UK play a very vital role in socio-economic development. These enterprises are very instrumental in the creation of employment opportunities and also in the increase of the overall GDP. In a country like Ireland alone, SMEs account for approximately 99% of all the market activity (Webb et al., 2013). However, these SMEs continue to face intense competition from countries in Eastern Europe and Asia as a result of globalization. The rapidly changing customer demands and increased globalization has created a lot of pressure on the SMEs. These organizations need to be equipped with the ability of managing their respective projects in a timely manner, within the given budget and to the expected specifications if they are to survive and also remain competitive.
Project management is regarded to be a well-established discipline which defines in considerable details the techniques and tools which are necessary when defining, planning, and implementing any project (Forbes & Ahmed, 2010). Nonetheless, while most scholars have been in a position of addressing the issues which surround the management of the projects that are found in big companies, there has been little information that has been gathered with respect to how projects in SMEs need to be managed.

It is undeniable that cosmetic industry serves a large population globally. Thus, the industry has many small, medium and large multinationals which tap into these market opportunities. Such huge global market demand implies greater strain to the available natural resources. The operations management of these corporations creates strain on raw materials and cause pollution from poor waste management of their finished and used products. A shift to sustainable methods is the best way to salvage the current operational environment in the cosmetic industry.

Originally, Amazon operated as an online bookstore but it later diversified to other industries such as e-commerce, Cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Dave (2018) suggests that amazon is one of the few companies in the globe which have been able to exploit the economies of scale brought by the web and internet technology to unleash unfathomable internet marketing and online selling of products and services. Currently, Amazon is the biggest internet company by income in the globe and also comes second in the United States in terms of job creation.  Ghemawat, et al., (2010) indicate that the success achieved by Amazon was enabled the long-term strategic vision for research and development. Moreover, the customer- centric approach employed by the company and its hunger for innovation and creativity and online user experience has been critical in its marketing campaigns during this era of internet of things. The data below indicates the coveted US Ecommerce market with Amazon acting as the leader with 49.1% while the closest rival has 6.6% market share. The astronomical growth achieved by Amazon within two decades is attributable to the company obsession with service its customers and its quest in research and development to improve its customer’s experiences.
In fact, Jeff Bezos (2017) noted that his main delight is to see his customers contented and satisfied and this drives him to dedicate more of the company’s revenues to invest and expand the customers’ choices.
This report shall evaluate the suggestion that “The best marketing strategies aren’t top down; they’re outside in, starting with the customers’ needs and wants” by using Amazon marketing strategy as a case study.

Different studies over the years have come up with following four main attributes considered as the main drivers of impulsive buying; first, impulsive purchase  as defined above is unplanned purchase  in which an individual buys a product which he/she had no plan of buying. Secondly, impulsive buying is driven by the exposure to a certain external stimulus such as product design or the price of the product. Thirdly, impulsive buying is brought by the sudden and powerful urge which forces an individual to buy a certain product immediately without considering the information search. Lastly, impulsive buying has been observed to trigger cognitive reactions such as guilt or being emotional mainly due to lack of reflection (Tinne, 2010; Madhavaram & Laverie, 2004; Muruganantham & Bhakat, 2013).  Consequently, the main purpose of this study is to critically evaluate the nature of impulse buying and then assess different factors which affect impulsive purchasing behavior as depicted by the Qatari women.

Megaprojects are prone to different risks. The aim of this study was to explore the risks associated with the spiraling cost of a high speed rail project and how these risks can/will be fared. Literature review was conducted whereby different studies on project risks were compared. The literature review was aimed at understanding the topic as researched by previous scholars. Management of Risk framework was used in research methodology. Information gathered through the MOR was analyzed and discussed whereby the study established the significance of risk management and how it impacted projects. The findings emphasized the importance of risk management in every project, whereby it established a positive relationship between efficient cost risk management and successful completion of projects.

Sustainability is defined as development efforts that meet the needs of the present without jeopardizing the ability of the future generation to meet theirs (Brunt land 1987). Sustainability is essentially doing good business and is also the triple bottom line of economic sustainability. The telecommunication sector has grown and developed rapidly because of the increased need for information sharing. Businesses and people have realized the importance of information sharing, therefore investing in systems and infrastructure that allow them receive feedback and disseminate information. The growing market has offered the companies with immense opportunities and challenges, especially in the development of infrastructure and user friendly technological innovations. Technological innovation has been cited as one element that enables sustainable growth and development in the telecommunication industry.  Previous studies have mainly focused on social and environmental sustainability within the industry; however a few studies have been conducted on economic sustainability as a factor of technological innovation more so in a developing country context. This research aim at providing insights into the relationship between technological innovation and economic sustainability in the telecommunication industry. Focusing on how these innovations have contributed to sector doing good business and achieve the triple bottom line of economic profitability. Investments in telecoms generally revolve around bringing about growth through cost reduction in the areas costs of interaction expansion in markets and ease information flow.  Literature review on the topic will be conducted so as to get previous insights by scholars on the topic.  Online questionnaire surveys were used to collect information from research participants. The collected data was analysed to identify the relationship between technological innovation and economic sustainability in the telecommunication sector.  The dissertation concludes that there is a positive relationship between technological innovation and economic sustainability.

The study was done to evaluate the mineral and phytochemical composition of the methanolic extract of Cleome gynandra (spider plant). The plant is used as a traditional vegetable in some communities in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. The plant has also been reported to have some medicinal effect due to presence of phytochemicals but its pharmacological and phytochemical profile has not been fully established. Collection and authentication of the plant was done followed by extraction using methanol as a solvent. The phytochemical investigation was done using both chemical analysis and chromatography method by use of a Gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GCMS) system as per standard protocol. Cleome gynandra was found to contain some mineral compounds of nutritional importance and phytochemicals with potential medicinal importance.
