This community is dedicated to those in and around Lafayette, Louisiana. It is set up so that people can get to know what is going on in their community.
Membership is open. As long as you live in and around the Lafayette, Louisiana area your membership will be allowed.
This community's main goal is to inform the LJ'ers about what is going on in this area in the way of plays, movies, concerts, and other events that are going on. It is also to start somewhat of a real community for Lafayette, Louisiana members to get to know one another. Members with posting capablities are allowed to freely post their updates but updates must be on topic or at least very close to topic, as all posts will be monitored.
Duplicate posts are not necessary and will be deleted.
If comments are to be made about a certain event, these comments are to be kept within the comments link on each individual entry. Do not post a new entry to discuss an event.
In closing, I will restate that nearly all events will be allowed, including any kind of music or show, but barring any kind of illegal events.
