We got one of those dawn simulator alarm clocks yesterday. Amy said it made a noticible difference for her; I'm not sure how it worked for me, seeing as how I woke up about five minutes before it started the hour-long ramp up to full brightness, and I never did get back to sleep. It was nice to have the light come on gradually rather than all at once, though, and I do feel a bit more alert than I usually do this time of day.
