I decided to take a nap around 1 p.m. today. I got up briefly around 3 to take care of a few things, and then laid back down because I was still so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open.
I just woke up about half an hour ago, and I will probably go back to bed after I eat something. And mind you, this is AFTER I got a solid ten hours of sleep last night.
This is the price I pay for pushing through a fibro flare. When I was younger and hadn't been diagnosed, much less figured out how to manage it, I slept around the clock on a distressingly regular basis. These days I usually pace myself well enough that I can at least remain upright and semi-productive during a flare.
At least I have the consolation of knowing that it really has been an insane couple of weeks. We've been working like mad to get our new shipping system in place and working, and on top of that I've been doing production at about twice my usual volume so we can get at least three or four weeks worth of website updates prepped before we head back east. I've also been doing insane amounts of socializing, and yesterday I modeled for Heather, which was both awesome and exhausting. So it's no surprise that I'm drop-dead exhausted at this point.
