I selected two stories to do artwork for and what is even cooler is that it is a crossover with Supernatural. Angelus2hot wrote an awesome story which I hope you take the time to read. Artist Note:  This is my 4th story illustrated for the Dean Castiel Big Bang 2015 challenge.  I picked up this story as a pitch artist after MissBloom's artist dropped out.  It was enjoyable to illustrate.  Her story is about two men, who are in college, where you watch them develop a loving friendship through the span of four years.  We get to watch the triumphs and the downfalls of these two men as they try to survive going through college and the trials of life.  I encourage you to read her story.  It was a honor to bring your story to life with these illustrations, MissBloom!  As always, thanks to deancasbigbang for this wonderful opportunity.

Life has got a bit crazy lately though not all of it is a bad thing. Actually a lot of it is good. I think the only bad is that domestic life and family duties and work get in the way of the fun things. ha! Ok, those things aren't bad. :P Wouldn't trade my family for anything!!

What's really keeping me busy is that I'm involved in a few projects. I'm now working on illustrations for 3 stories in the DCBB. (For those who don't know what DCBB is it stands for Dean/Castiel Big Bang.) Originally I was working on only two but picked up one just recently, 4-5 days ago, due to a fallout of another artist. I participated in one other big bang this past summer though this time I'm doing something different than I did last time. I'm using a technique that involves pen, paper, copic markers, Photoshop and a program on my ipad called PencilSketch. It's a long process but have been very satisfied with the results. So look out for my posting dates for DCBB: October 26th, November 4th and November 19th!

My other project includes either 1 or 2 illustrations for the SPN-Reversebang. Haven't started working on it yet but have some ideas. I'm now just trying to decide if I'm going to use strictly Photoshop or do the same process I'm using for my illustrations in the DCBB.

Summary:
The mesmerizing night sky doesn't really depict the actual events that take place on land. That particular night was nothing but pain for Dean Winchester. He lost everything that night, his brother, his angel, everything. He chooses to ignore it however as he and Sam set off on a case when kids mysteriously start disappearing from their homes. Both brothers want to act as if everything is normal when in fact, tension is in the air and Dean tries to hide the pain and grief to make it easier for them. But trying to pretend that the problems don't exist won't make them go away, no matter how much you want them to. After everything that has happened, it's only a matter of time before Dean snaps and his world comes crumbling down at his feet. AU after 10.09 'The Things We Left Behind.'

Artist Notes: This is my first year creating artwork for J2 SPN big bang (or for anyone) and will admit was a little nervous to do it.  I am thankful that I was able to create this artwork for spn_bookworm as she is a very talented writer.  I really enjoyed her story and it was an honor to create these pieces of artwork to complement her story. Plus a big thanks to spn_j2_bigbang for this opporunity.  I really had a lot of fun.
