So, apparently there hasn't been alot of koosh happening, according to Kevin

Since we're about to all head off to college (with a few notable short and old exceptions)

Kevin and I were discussing possible final "hurrah" little gatherings we could do to celebrate

and so we came up with the following

- CAMPING?
(WILD ANIMALS AND SHIT, YESSSSSSS! WAIT NOOOOO! UM? FINE. MAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!)

- BEACH/POOL PARTY?
(I REALLY REALLY WANNA DO THIS I LOVE SWIMMING AND STILL NEED TO TEACH A FEW PEOPLE HOW TO SWIMMMMMMMM!)

- POSSIBLE CONVINCING OF OUR PHYSICS TEACHER TO LET PPL TAG ALONG ON FIELD TRIP TO SIX FLAGS MARINE WORLD IF THEY DONT MANAGE TO FILL THE BUSES?
(YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY 35 BUCKS THO, GOOD NEWS IS THAT A NUMBER OF US ARE IN PHYSICS ALREADY AND PROBABLY GOING)

I'd just like a rough headcount of how many people plan on coming to my house for said sleep over on Sunday. If anyone has any request, call me. I'm most likely going to Costco Sunday morning. Also, I have class on Monday so I would like people not too hang around too long. Probably, 1pm at the latest. Leave a comment, email or IM me if you plan on attending.

Because almost nobody has been checking their emails, maybe LJ would be a better census location. Riva is having her sleepover tonight, starting at 4. Ben is having one tomorrow after the Harris picnic. Who can come to which? Post here even if you've stated your opinion before, so we can have one nice collection of informations.

So... I only got like... two votes for the Winter Party I'm hosting. And those were for the worst possible dates. So! NEW DATES!

The party will occur from the 3rd to the 5th of January. If we really want to, we could do the 7th. But it will celebrate all Winter Holidays and New Years.

The party will be hosted by me, and snacks, drinks, dinner, and dessert will be ready. If you want to help out, bring a bag of candy, cookies, or your favorite chips.

I saw a turn-off for all the rules, so I have gotten permission to modify them and I WILL EXPLAIN THEM.

1. No smoking and drinking.
(I know few of you smoke and drink, and those who do do these casually and controlled. I don't think it will be a problem, but my parents will lock up the good wine, just in case.)

2. No entering bedrooms.
(This rule is basically because of my parents' fear of teenage sex. They only really know one person in our group - Kevin. I know that you guys can control yourselves with this too... They also fear for personal items being rummaged into. I'll leave my door open, but monitor who goes in there. I DO trust you guys.)

3. We're not in charge of transportation.
(You have to get your own ride here and back. We're not limo drivers here... The reason I'm telling you this party in advance is so you can organize transportation, food, dress, etc...)

The party will probably go from 11:30-10.

No, we won't play video games, unless people don't show up.

Yes, we will feed you. (Dinner, yes. Lunch, maybe.)

I was talking to Kevin and I can't remember how this came into my mind but I had an idea for.. *drum roll* KooshCon!

Motto: "Where everyone is your friend"

It would just be one big koosh meet with LOTS and LOTS of people. There should be plenty of activities and things to do. So, I suggest people discuss this idea. Funding, activities, date/time slot, attendies, etc.

Anyway, it's just an idea and if it does sound good to people, it will probably take some time to plan it all out and whatnot.

I'm hosting the Koosh Winter Party. I guess I can post up a little about it.

1. Everyone in Koosh and in high school is welcome to come - if I don't know someone, check with me first.

2. No alchohol or drugs. End of story.

3. Don't dress inappropriately! You must have at least a shirt, shorts, and shoes. And no, you cannot take them off (shoes excepted).

4. All doors to my personal items. Will. Be. Locked. I'm not hosting a theft school.


If you don't know where I live, don't worry. I'll tell you all at least one week before the party. I'm proposing a few Friday/Saturday dates when we are on Winter Break. I'm also thinking of 2:30 PM to 10 PM (2:30 to 5 for the gamers, 5 to 10 for everyone else). My parents say it's okay for a sleepover, but it can only be 3-4 people, only of one gender.

I guess that's it.

ETA: Renee has graciously volounteered to host the party instead, in sleepover form. I shall allow her to, but there is still some general confusion regarding what we're all doing. Are we doing something after the SATs tomorrow? Big party? Sleepover? Much fun and good times? We're usually more on top of things when it comes to planning non-sunday bashes.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2^ND OR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3^RD
So from the emails it's decided we will have a lap tag Koosh session in the park next to school. Don't know where that is? Look it up. Since we have Friday off of school, I am proposing we have it at 1:00. This may follow with some basic Koosh sports. If weather is bad, we can migrate to a nearby house, or call it off. After this Friday it will be every Friday, at 3:30 after school. Any problems? No? Good.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4^TH
So, some of us have the SAT's this day. So we have to stray as far away from the 6AM-2PM range of times. Here are our options for it:

Sleepover/Crashing Party - Ralph (College) PENDING
Post-Halloween/Birthday Party - Mike (High School Senior) POSTPONED UNTIL THE WEEKEND OF THE 11TH/12TH

If any of you have any other locations, post them in this topic, and I can add them.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5^TH
Regular Koosh meet. Will continue unless horrible weather. (You do not determine horrible weather, the majority does.)
