설치
The easy way to install the plugin is via WordPress.org plugin directory.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
- Search for “SmartBlocks – WordPress Gutenberg Blocks” and install the plugin.
- Activate Plugin from “Plugins” menu in WordPress.

Smart Blocks is a very useful plugin, but I’ve encountered an issue in versions 2.5 and 2.6. After updating, the WordPress media uploader no longer opens when selecting an image inside the editor. The button becomes unresponsive and the media modal does not load. Rolling back to version 2.4 immediately restores normal behavior.
I confirmed the issue by deactivating other plugins and testing different editors (Elementor and the default editor). The conflict only appears when Smart Blocks is updated beyond 2.4.My environment: Viral Mag theme, Elementor, LiteSpeed server, PHP 8.0.30.
I wanted to share this in case it helps with debugging. The plugin is valuable and I hope future updates can address this compatibility issue. Thank you for your work.
