Prof. Sugata Bose, Gardiner Professor of Oceanic History and Affairs at Harvard University, will be the General Chair for Symposium.
The panels of the 2-days conference (9th and 10th of Dec.) will be accompagnied by a thematic exhibition and an associated cultural program. The conference will be followed by excursions on 11th of December in the port towns of Bharuch and Cambay.
