This is a flaily post, because - they're superheroes, you guys! And not only ANY superheroes, they're CLASSIC ANIME SUPERHEROES, which is all kinds of awesome, because while I don't think the Yatterman series was ever shown here (or it was, and I was simply too young to watch it), as a child I used to pretty indiscriminately watch everything from Ninja Mutant Hero Turtles (I think I once wanted Michelangelo to marry April, if I recall correctly) and Biker Mice From Mars, to Sailor Moon, to Captain Harlock (? I think? if that was the one where one of the crew died by sacrificing himself and the carbon in his bones to fuel the ship - I believe I was eight, or so, when I learned about that concept of heroism), to that one anime that I can't remember the title of that had guys with different colours and mechas that could turn into horses and sabers and a blond-haired black ranger guy who kind of turned bad, except that he seemed to be in love with the red ranger guy, and which I used to love to tiny little pieces, because I wanted to have a mecha like that too.
(Seriously, does that description ring any bells with anyone? I used to love that thing so much, but I can't remember the title or the characters' names)


And now Arashi get turned into Seventies anime heroes! YATTERMAN ANIME HEROES! *__________* AS IN, THAT SUPERHERO WITH THE UNDERWEAR EMBLEM!

But it gets even better!

ALSO: For those interested, who haven't seen this (not many, I know), there's also a video here that shows the characters Arashi are playing and the opening songs from the various animes they're the main characters of.

It's pretty much awesome - even though I now have "Tiiiiiiime Booooooouuukan!" stuck in my head. ^^"

Two things that amuse me:

1.) You know MegaUpload? Pretty useful thing. And amusing. Why? Because it's got this really strange not quite pornographic "we find out through your IP address were you live and shower you with photos of dateable people" advertisement. Which would ordinarily be annyoing - except that they seem to think I'm a man.

Yes, that amuses me.

2.) Yesterday I went to this cute little Sushi-Restaurant have eat a bit of vegetarian maki and some miso-soup. (That's why I went there in the first place - I wanted to eat miso-soup again.)
It was OK - the food was nothing special, but it didn't taste horrible at least and the miso-soup was quite nice - except that the two cooks seemed very unfriendly. Well, at least that was my first impression. When I thought about it, I came to the conclusion that their blank faces while I talked to them was due to the fact that they were busy translating my words into their own language. I'm not sure whether they actually spoke more than a few words of German...
That's not really funny in itself, but the image of them being confronted with a cheerful German girl who rambles on while they try to catch one word in five just brings a smile to my face... XD


By the way: Do any of you know "Princess Princess"? I saw a few episodes recently and was pleasantly surprised.

Aaaah...

Since I decided to put my one YGO fic up at Yaoi.de today (and I already got three comments for it... *boggles* Not something that happens to me, usually!), I thought I might as well put it up at this place as well.

Though, to be completely honest, mostly I decided to update, because I want to TALK again! >.< I really, really can't talk at the moment, so I'm getting rather frustrated... v-v"

Especially since I've got something to talk about! ^_______^

Today, I listened to one song on my Prince of Tennis CD over and over and over again. Normally, I would probably know it by heart by now, but since it's in Japanese, I can't. Luckily, because otherwise I'd probably sing along with it - sore throat or not.
This song is just SO DAMN FUNNY!!!

I got the translation from the internet and basically it's a song made for pre-school kids (children around the age of four, or so). Accordingly, it's the most happy-happy-joy-joy thing you could imagine - really, it's got cutesy little "nyanyanyan"'s and "hoi,hoi!"'s in it and everything. Well, the funny part is not the song itself, but the "story" behind it:
Eiji Kikumaru, age 14, who is one of the most hyperactiv and perky characters in the whole show and who tends to act pretty much like the song sounds (yes, that's possible! ^-^) tries to get Ryoma Echizen, age 12, who is a typical "cool brat" and EVERYTHING but hyperactiv and perky, to perform this song.

The song starts with Ryoma singing VERY unenthusiastically. Really, it sounds as if he's about to fall asleep! After around a minute of this, Eiji stops him and launches into a speech about how he is supposed to sing this song "genki" and "kawaii". Ryoma claims that he's too tired, which makes Eiji bribe him with a free meal at a Sushi-restaurant - and suddenly, Ryoma really puts in an effort!

Hearing the sudden change from "bored to death" to "perky as a whole kindergarten" is funny enough, but what really cracks me up every time is Eiji giving encouragement and singing along in the backround!
The thing is, while Ryoma is spoken by a woman (although a woman with an alto, a bit like Conan), Eiji is spoken by a man; and although his voice is not too deep, it's just so DAMN funny to hear a man sing (and speak) in this very childlike, "kawaii" voice, while his female counterpart is all cool and "macho"!

The ending of the song is really funny as well: Ryoma ends his part and Eiji starts clapping and cheering, telling Ryoma how wonderful he was - just to suddenly realise that Ryoma has fallen asleep during his speech...^^"

Anyway, enough with PoT, on to YGO.
