I'm participating in the H/C Bingo!
The first of my final exams (a five hour long written exam about the didactics of German language) is in two days time and I'm not-so-quietly going crazy with fear and nerves. And thus I thought: Yes, this is the right time to make a post about fic writing! ^^"
So, service announcement: I'm participating in the H/C Bingo!
See, I don't exactly have time to write fic (though, as Marion Zimmer Bradley once noted, NO ONE has time to write, you just grab what time you can get, even if it means writing on top of the washing machine while doing laundry), but writing has always calmed my nerves and I've been WANTING to write something for months now.
Only problem? Absolutely NO ideas. My muses have apparently taken a long vacation, or something.
So I thought that this H/C Bingo (
hc_bingo - the idea for it has been taken from the "Kink Bingo" community) would be perfect, because while it's a challenge, there's no exchange, so it doesn't matter at all if I fail, and it gives me all those nice little prompts that I can write for! Oh, and it's a minimum of 500 words per fic, which is actually something I can write in a day or two! ^-^
That said... well, I got my card and...
See this card? That's my card. See the "werewolves: accidental mating for life w/ inappropriate person" thing? That's when it all started to go wrong, because I saw that prompt and immediately, like it had just been waiting to happen, my mind was flooded with the idea to an EPIC JunToshi D/s werewolves AU. It really... I've been calming myself down enough to sleep the last days by plotting that thing and I have no idea what my wordcount's going to be like, but so far, the "accidental mating" thing that happens to Jun and Ohno seems to be just the first installment in a series that's basically about questioning society's structure and finding a way for yourself that's different from the norm.
The stories that I've so far plotted out:
Prompt: Orphans and Runaways | Sho and Clint Eastwood-centric, but no romantic pairings | No ratings and warnings yet, but very likely no sexual content | Summary: Sho has always known, deep down inside, that he's a very submissive wolf, but being the oldest and the most sensible of his friends and siblings, he took on the role of the dominant near-leader out of necessity early on in his life. Today, he's so good at this role that no one seems to realize that he's anything but a not-so-strong dominant wolf and he finds himself unable to break out of it, for fear of losing everything - until an old general steps into his life, who wants to change society as it's known...
Prompt: Undercover: forced to hurt your partner | Nino/Aiba, Jun/Ohno | R-NC-17 (probably) - no idea about anything happening in this installment yet, I just know I want Nino and Aiba to be the focus in the "forced to hurt your partner" prompt. Possibly this is going to be about the problems that arise once Clint and Sho set their plans in motion.
These are the three "main" stories in the series, but there're going to be a lot of side stories, because I plan to do a "cross-Bingo" (i.e. writing for the nine prompts that form the vertical and horizontal lines through the middle) and I've got vague ideas for most of the other prompts (except electrocution and wild card) already, which fit into the world I've created. (The prompt "Cuddling for warmth/Snowed in", for example, is going to be the story about how Aiba and Nino met, and "Headaches" is a domestic piece about Sho and Clint Eastwood... - BTW! Do you guys know who of the Arashi guys was the one who didn't like spiders? I thought it was Ohno, but I'm not so sure about that...)
Yeah. That's my "I'm pretty sure I've got a mental condition" ficcing plan which I hopefully will actually be able to go through with. (I'm fairly sure about the first installment, but I'm not so sure about the others... which would be a shame, because I love them.) We'll see! ^-^
Also... uhm... anyone here who has TONS of time and enthusiasm and might be willing to beta this thing at one undetermined point in the future...?
