Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Keeply service — including the web application at keeply.tools, the REST API at api.keeply.tools, and the browser extension — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Keeply is a personal bookmark manager. It allows you to save, organize, tag, and search URLs. Keeply is provided as-is, free of charge, for personal use. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future; any existing free features will be communicated clearly if they become paid.
3. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address to register.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Keeply.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Keeply to:
- Store or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or Keeply infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or stress-test the service in a way that disrupts availability for others.
- Circumvent any rate limits or security measures.
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
5. API access
Access to the Keeply REST API is granted via API keys generated in your account settings. API keys are bound to your account and the scopes you assign them. You are responsible for all activity performed using your API keys. Keys should be treated as passwords — do not commit them to public repositories or share them. We reserve the right to rate-limit, temporarily suspend, or permanently revoke API keys or accounts that are found to be abusing the service, exceeding reasonable usage limits, or violating these terms, with or without prior notice.
6. Your content
You own the data you store in Keeply — bookmarks, notes, tags, and folders. By using the service, you grant Keeply a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating Keeply.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Keeply available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime or data unavailability.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. To request deletion of all your data from our systems, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keeply is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
