
George Oduro
George K.T. Oduro holds a PhD (CANTAB) degree from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He is a Professor of Educational Leadership and the immediate past Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has expertise in leadership and governance, particularly in educational institutions. George has been a training facilitator in a number of leadership and governance capacity strengthening workshops nationally and internationally. He researchinterest in leadership and governance strategies for improving the quality of teaching and learning in educational institutions. He is experienced in coordinating education-related international partnership research and capacity strengthening. George is a strong advocate for de-politicization of University Governance in Ghana, the protection of Academic Freedom in sub-Saharan African Universities, Gender-sensitive pedagogy and Quality-index Fee-Free pre-tertiary education in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust, the All Saints’ Educational Trust, UK, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Galilee International Management Institute and the institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Ghana).
