I can't stop posting. Help me; I'm a journal postaholic today.
The number one answer doesn't surprise me, but that second one... waaaaah!
You scored as Disappear. Your death will be by disappearing, probably a camping trip gone wrong or an evening hike you never returned from. Always remeber that one guy who was hiking alone and got in a rock slide. He could have died, but he cut his own hand off to save himself. Don't end up like him (or worse, dead).
I’ve been reading a decent amount lately, finally making a dent in the stack (two deep) of books on my bookshelves, which makes me feel better. Thus far, in the span of about three weeks I’ve finished Catspaw, by Joan D. Vinge, Count Zero, by William Gibson, and Redwall, by Brian Jacques.
I’d never heard of Vinge, but as with most books it was one I picked up on a whim while in a secondhand store – I adore secondhand bookstores. I liked it. I feared the main character would be a regular angst bucket, but he turned out more likable than I anticipated, so much so that I found the first book, which is sadly out of print. Once again, thank goodness for Half Price Books. As for Gibson, who’s been called the father of the cyberpunk movement, he’s not for everyone; I found the first book I read by him, Nueromancer, somewhat difficult, not because of big words or complex sentence structure, but because of the often vague nature of his descriptions. A lot of his futuristic world is difficult to visualize, but once I stopped trying so hard to form concrete images in my head I enjoyed his writing more. Redwall, meanwhile, is one of those books intended for “young adults”, although death and violence aren’t avoided. It’s a nice fantasy but there are some obvious details the author ignored or overlooked, such as the relative size of the animals and their environment. A mouse and a badger and a fox all seem to be able to use the same door and sleep in the same bed, while the buildings they live in have the feel of being human sized, yet at the same time scaled inside for a mouse (and all the other assorted creatures). At times I get the impression the characters were all scaled to close to the same size, then they shrink or grow as needed.
Now for some distractions:
The site is in Spanish, but it’s easy to navigate, and there are some Lenore animations worth watching. I’d heard of the comic before, but aside from a few examples I’d never read any.
After that, go look at these Korean songs. Some are quite silly, and all are good ways to waste time when you ought to be doing something else. There is even one all about the wonderful egg.
Friday is a good day for a post with little real content.
This is a pretty good gallery of cosplay. One thing I've noticed about these costume sites however, is how difficult it often is to find prices. They list some for the premade outfit, but there's little info on some of the fancier ones in the gallery, although I'm sure the cost is far from pocket change. Ah to be rich and get what you want when you want. Money may not buy happiness, but all I ask is for the opportunity to prove it wrong.
Dashing and multi-talented: You are a Bard! A decent warrior, reasonable spell-caster, and fairly good at tricking people, the Bard is the jack of all trades. These charming fellows live by their wits, though a sharp blade, a few spells, and some lockpicks never hurt. Smart, sneaky, and aggressive, you're probably good at most things you try. You don’t have much need for spirituality or superstition and are much more likely to live in the here and now... and if you can get some fun and profit out of the here and now, even better.
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
Lastly, read a bit of odd news that headlesspuppet passed on to me: Snake bursts after gobbling gator. "An unusual clash between a 6-foot (1.8m) alligator and a 13-foot (3.9m) python has left two of the deadliest predators dead in Florida's swamps."
Wear your (clean) underwear on your head tonight. Go on. DooOooooOoO it.
And, found by takaal, calculate your the Real-Life AD&D Stats. It was tricky for me because I can't remember how much I can benchpress, although it was more than I used to. And I don't know if I have a glass jaw. O_o

Don't you love long and utterly pointless posts? I'm glad though this song popped into my head after last night's drama. Bananas make all things better, even communication!

The Machiavelli personality test has a range of 0-100 Your Machiavelli score is: 82 You are a high Mach, you endorse Machiavelli's opinions. Most people fall somewhere in the middle, but there's a significant minority at either extreme.
The Sheriff of Nottingham captured Little John and Robin Hood and imprisoned them in his maximum-security dungeon. Maid Marion begged the Sheriff for their release, pleading her love for Robin. The Sheriff agreed to release them only if Maid Marion spent the night with him. To this she agreed. The next morning the Sheriff released his prisoners. Robin at once demanded that Marion tell him how she persuaded the Sheriff to let them go free. Marion confessed the truth, and was bewildered when Robin abused her, called her a slut, and said that he never wanted to see her again. At this Little John defended her, inviting her to leave Sherwood with him and promising lifelong devotion. She accepted and they rode away together.
Now in terms of realistic everyday standards of behavior, put Robin, Marion, Little John, and the Sheriff in the order in which you consider they showed the most morality and honesty. There is no "right" answer, and you'll be given the psychologist's estimate of you for each of the 24 arrangements.
Why do you forsake me succubuschan? And why am I married to evil incarnate?
I think I took this quiz before and got a different answer then, but courtesy of takaal:
You represent... insanity. You're quite a quirky little creature. You're emotions are varying. You may appear childish and innocent, but you have a tendency to freak out. You're incredibly random, but it's good to be unique. People know you're an odd one, but you certainly don't mind.
The whole thing is quite the clusterfuck and quite hard to follow. When reviewing things, I tried to focus on quoted statements by the DashCon Staff, facts, and attendee observations. Even then…
Agreed. Looking at Night Vale's Tweets, I'm pretty sure it'd take some amazing PR skills and people with the experience to reassure them to get them to return.
In college I hit garage and estate sales a lot. The only thing I wouldn't get is anything I can't wash in hot water, ie couches, mattresses, etc due to bedbug concerns.

Lot of stores will mark down the brown bananas because they're not as pretty. I love those!
