I haven't bought a new phone since April 2021 -- that's three and a half years ago.

I kinda want to switch to an iPhone 15 or 16 now (for the USB-C connection).

If I buy it myself, I don't want to spend more than $800, so refurbished is fine.

(Wonder if I can ask my mom to get it for me. Hmm....)
