Character beta, anyone?
And with my sincerest apologies to any of you who follow me on tumblr.
In ten years, I managed to never once post the faces of any of the actors in my fandoms.
After one week on tumblr, I've done it twice in one day.
You know, Teen Wolf is like SGA - stupid show, fandom full of AUs because of that, fantastic characters that suck you in, and the whole John-->Rodney-->John thing that I did? Doing it with Derek-->Stiles-->Derek. I fell in love with John Sheppard's face, then quickly realized that Rodney's character was amazing and fell for him, and then realized, in the end, that I still loved John more. I am on the exact same trajectory here. Fell for Derek's stupid face, realized what an awesome asshole Stiles is, and am realizing that, in the end, oh Derek.
So please help. I have a draft of my fic, about 24,000 words, and I need a character beta.
perverse_idyll has graciously agreed to beta and take care of almost everything, mostly because she knows I fail at life without her, but she's never seen the show. And this is an AU to boot, a ridiculously over the top, deliberately emo fic. And my first one in the fandom.
I just need someone to read it and tell me just how far off I am on these guys. Anyone on my flist in the fandom? If not, anyone have ideas what to do about this?
