JUST DO IT

Originally, UQ and I had planned to release the entirety of Space Runaway Ideon’s BD encodes under the Encodergasm name and make it a quick job. We released it in two shapes: the 720p encodes as done by Encodergasm, RX782 himself, and re-encodes of those rips in a much more compact form under UQ’s name. Both versions contained a complete re-translation from the Shin-Getter release by Universal Quantifier.
When we were finished with the primary task, we had a new one. Go through and check for any errors or problems, fix them, release a batch torrent. A simple task to go along with pretty much every release. I asked people not to compile an unofficial batch.

Three years pass.

Life got in the way. Neither of us wanted to do it, neither of us cared enough, and after a certain point we had a good idea that the series would be seeing an official release – the only question was whether it would be the remaster or some “SD-on-BD” nonsense. So instead of ending with any finality, I made a few promises I was afraid to actually address for years now as life got in the way and doors stayed open far past the point they should have been shut with finality. For that, I apologize, but I have to be clear.

With the official localization by Maiden Japan, we would cease any and all work on the project. Our work, as fare as we were and are concerned, is finished. Every episode was translated, the episodes remain in archival quality, there is nothing more to do. With an official release as an option, we are satisfied with this result.

That being said, I personally am not content to just let data die online in obscurity. Even if the official release exists, I do want to say:
If you want our full EG release for Ideon, I would suggest Bakabt. Perhaps Nyaa might be helpful too.
If you are interested in the UQ “SD” release, since they are not directly competing with an official product, I am comfortable leaving a link to download it right here.

Hey.

Torrents: Nyaa.si | Anidex

Been working on this with /m/Subs to completely retranslate the series, with the bluray remaster as the base. There’s not much to say, it’s a great show, watch it.
I had my reasons for disappearing for so long, especially after making promises, but I’m just going to have to leave it there. If you believed in me at some point, I’m going to have to apologize for perhaps disappointing some.

If anyone is still foolish enough to visit here…I’m back.

Yes, I’m still alive. No, Ideon has no batch as of yet. No ETA.

UQ and I both had a string of difficulties working on Ideon, and when he didn’t, I did. As a result, between both of our personal lives, things haven’t been optimal. There’s a reason I haven’t been working on anything else in the meantime. That being said, I’m more or less back in business now.

Taking requests again, and I’m working with the wonderful Starseeker over at /m/Subs on a certain BD / re-translation project that as of now will remain unnamed. More info on that coming sooner rather than later. Stay tuned, I don’t promise speed, but I do promise results. Eventually.

P.S. I desperately need a way into U2.dmhy.org, if anyone has a way in, PLEASE. HELP. I’m not above begging, pride is for those with the privilege of choice.

Full series released which took way longer than it should have. Sorry? Whatever, though, I’m not sure that many people care.

Torrents: Anidex

As Nyaa is dead, it can only be logical to proliferate. Consolidation is what caused the nyaapocalypse in the first place – with everything grouped around one site, calamity was inevitable when it INEVITABLY went down. As such, I’ll be using multiple sites from this point onwards to output torrents. At the moment, Pantsu is going full schizo and having one of its episodes again, so only an anidex link for now. However, considering the entire userbase of pantsu is already massive thanks to 2chan migration, I will likely continue to post there even though it’s pretty dumb.

Still working on the Ideon batch, there is a lot of content to go through and proofread, and we’re both kind of burntout. But a job done well is better than a job done quick. Any other NON TRANSLATION requests, hit me up.

Everyone knows by now, but still, man, this is one thing I did not prepare for. I was planning on releasing pretty much everything within a week or two but now I don’t have a reliable avenue to do so.

Listen, if you visit this site and have any ideas for where stuff can go from now on, hit me up. Discord, comment, whatever. Hopefully something comes up soon because I have no real way to actually get everything out there.

Does anyone even visit this site? SO the Ideon Batch is coming – UQ was unsatisfied with the QC on the episodes I wasn’t involved on (coincidentally). So he’s working on quite a few episodes.

As for me, I’ve had a few things come up but those M3 BDs are coming. Just trying to make sure I’m releasing the highest quality work.

Are there any requests? If a show exists and has available higher quality source files and does NOT require retranslation, I can work on it.
