Had an amazing time in New York City. Amazing. Always good to hang out with people I adore and finally meet some others in person. Seriously. How cool is it that I can meet some people on the internet through a mutual love of Harry Potter, and discover that they are also humans that I would choose to spend time with (and sometimes not even discussing HP). Well, and the bedhopping: two beds, three nights, four ladies... you do the math. Let's just say that I know just who glows in the dark and who does not.
Of course, I came home and proceeded to get completely sneezey, snotty, & sick. By the end of the day today, my students even had their "Bless you, Miz F," timed perfectly to the end of my third sneeze. In unison. Heh.
Also, and I'm just announcing this now so you all aren't blindsided in four years, but kerryblaze & I will be co-presidents on the next DNC ticket. On our two hour walk through Central Park on Saturday afternoon, we pretty much solved all of the world's problems. We figured it best to share with the rest of the country. ♥
I'll do a full post about the weekend soon, mostly shoc & maple have already said everything, but I want to write it up for posterity so I won't forget it.
Comedy tonight, ladies. Live comedy. Did you know that?
edit: also, some lovely anon sent me a rose. Thank you so much, whomever you are. *loves all over you* I'd love to write you a limerick, if you'll comment and let me know (anonymous is fine!)

Girl. Every time I think I want to write again I pop out like 1000 words and then I am done for months. But I want to write again, man, do I. I miss fandom and the collective squeal when something…

I was talking with Tara (also annoyed Pea, bless) because I was trying to see if you were on any social media outside LJ.
