BBC SHERLOCK: -- I'm rewatching this series (this is my third or fourth time) while working on lesson plans and am just dying over how much I love it. Seriously. What I want to do: write hundreds and hundreds of words of Sherlock & John kissing. What I need to do: finish a shit tonne of work for school and work on packing for London.

Maybe I can work out a deal with myself.

A long time ago I wrote a Seamus/Neville story for shikishi (who is likely the queen of the pairing!) Even though I was ridiculously nervous about writing for her, it ended up being one of the stories of which I am most proud. [Distraction, pg13]

And then dramedy was doing commissions and I said to myself: "Self? There is not nearly enough Seamus/Neville art -- if any -- in the world, and that fact needs to change!"

So I commissioned her to draw Seamus/Neville art (and selfishly told her that if something in my story inspired her, that would be amazing).

In the final days of packing of the classroom, I have been remiss in several things:

❀ Thank you for all of the birthday wishes!! ♥ *love to you all*

❀ I'm finally finished packing the classroom! Because my room is not being used for one of the summer programs, I was able to get another day to finish things up, so I spent another 39485749567 hours on Monday (and 2 on Tuesday after a leadership retreat) to finish everything up. I checked out today (turned in my key and badge) and now I'm going to sit and actually breathe for a little while this afternoon. I'm quite looking forward to it. :)

❀ While it feels good to have finished, I'm still in that headspace I get when I confront one of my weaknesses. I am absolutely horrible at packing. Suck at it. Get distracted, tend to save too much, flit from pile to pile, easily frustrated. So, spending a few days confronting my own weaker tendencies (even though I've gotten WAY better) is rather daunting, to say the least.

❀ I have read several books recently, which is a nice change from the wintertime. I've read a mix of different types, and it's so nice to think back and realize that I've read five books in the last few weeks. ♥

❀ I'm saving the best for last!!! Would you like to see some absolutely glorious art? Some stunningly perfect Seamus/Dean art? Art that was done as a surprise to me?? omg, you are in for such a treat!!

~Blaise, in this, strikes me as almost unintentionally sexy. It's a gorgeous (and hot) image and I couldn't tear my eyes away for a long while.

★ Just Words On Paper by kath_ballantyne [g - Seamus, implied Seamus/Dean]
~This I love because it says so much and the details in this picture are almost deceptively simple. There are words accompanying that just make the image even more poignant. ♥

★ Quidditch Dreams by anonymous (except it's totally not anonymous :P) [nc17 - Harry/Percy/Oliver]
~This is beautiful (and, um, hottt), both in the way Percy is portrayed -- so true to his character in both the dream and the reality -- and in the simple, but perfect poses of both Harry and Oliver. guh.

★ Priceless by cugami [pg13 - Ron/Draco]
~This, again, I love for the details. Ron's hand is on a small patch of Draco's skin, and it's so beautifully intimate. Well, and, there's kissing. Need I say more?
