Welcome to my personal website. I'm Justin, a software engineer, agency founder, and lifelong tinkerer who enjoys digging deep into systems, questioning defaults, and building things that hold up over time.

I started freelancing at 16, helping friends, family, and eventually real clients bring their ideas online. Over the past 11 years, WordPress has been the backbone of that journey, evolving from a tool I used into a platform I actively build with and for.

After graduating high school i started studying applied computer science. I learned proper programming, understood how databases worked and how professional software is built. I leaned further into engineering, focusing on structure, performance, and maintainability rather than quick fixes.

Social Media Management Paid Advertising

In 2023, I founded Citation Media. Today we're a small team delivering custom solutions. Running an agency has sharpened my sense of ownership, trade-offs, and long term thinking, while also reinforcing how much I enjoy deep technical work and collaborative problem solving.

I'm especially drawn to opinionated software and strong conventions. Clear structure, good defaults, and thoughtful constraints help teams move faster and build more reliable systems. That philosophy shows up in my own projects, including an open source WordPress plugin boilerplate I've been maintaining and evolving over several years.

This site is a place where I share projects, ideas, experiments, and the things I'm learning along the way.
