To all of my American friends, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! It's a beautiful thing, and I hope all of you enjoy it and get nice and fat.


This is the first time I'm spending a holiday away from home, and it's not that bad. Really quiet, sure, but nothing horrible. I have to go out and get some more meat for the potluck that me and my friends are cooking for dinner tonight, but otherwise it's just me. Chillin. Doin some homework and watching some super street fighter 4 tournament videos. Playing a little Robot Unicorn Attack: Heavy Metal. Pimping my newest icon post. Good times.

Life update!!

►Did some volunteer work today for an old lady whose daughter & two grandkids live with her. We painted her living room and kitchen. There were five of us plus one guy who was from the charity program and it was actually a lot of fun. The woman made us sandwiches and had little cakes and melons for us to eat for lunch I was so grateful ;_; she told us how much it meant to her to have someone finally do this and that she would never forget us and could stop by her place anytime and I was like AHHHHHHHH YOU'RE TOO KIND ;;;A;;;

►Still can't ride a bike. oops.

►Made about 180 some one piece icons. I'm soooooooo cool.

►The FMA Gaiden chapter was adorable. You're too cute Al. I hope she does a few more for Ling&Ranfan and Roy/Riza/alla those guys.

►I'm mad behind in tags *screams* i feel really bad but i'm either busy or tired lfmao :( hopefully tomorrow I can get to them.

►I have so much HW already and I need to get books *screams!*

►I made cheesy garlic mashed potatoes with caramelized onions and chicken for dinner! great success!

►tonight me & some friends are going to go bar-hopping around centraal i'm pumped.

►Amsterdam is still so fucking awesome. OBVS CLASSES ARE KICKING MY ASS ALREADY LMFAO but otherwise I can't even care. Everything is beautiful in this city. Even the prostitutes. And the weed. Especially the weed.

now that i have everyone's attention:

►Got my schedule from IES today! They enrolled me in 5 courses, but I can drop one so I only have 4 (thank god lmfao). SO MY SCHEDULE IS:
Dutch Language and Culture (MON&THURS; 1st half of the semester only)
Pleasure and Politics: Anthropological Approaches to Sexuality (WED)
Ethnic Diversity and Popular Culture (TUES)
Introduction to sharia or Islamic Law & Morality (TUES)

That gives me 17 credits, which translates to I think 4.5 bryn mawr credits, so that's a full course load for me! yay! BASICALLY THIS MEANS THAT second half of october onward I'll have 5 day weekends! yeah!!


►Finally watched ONE PIECE: STRONG WORLD! It was really straight forward (shiki is the bad guy! we're gonna beat him up and make everything better!) which is something that always bugs me and yet... I can't hate an OP movie for something like that. It was overall a lot of fun and really pretty. But I can totally see why Oda never wants to do something like this again - all the planning and designing must've drained him. Plus he had beast wars, mob fights, electric ducks... what more could he come up with to top it? Honestly.

►SPEAKING OF ONE PIECE OH GOD A ONE MONTH BREAK HRRNG i'm going to be dying.
→Bleach still sucks ass. Not even a mullet can redeem you Ichigo.
→Naruto is pretty good - the return of Gai makes it so much better. Kisame's backstory might be a letdown but... it could really be worse LMAO,...
→WHERE ARE MY HAJIME NO IPPO CHAPTERS I WANT THEMSDLJFK *foams*
→Bakuman is actually proving to be really interesting and fun again I am enjoying their new crazy kid detective series.


►Got a good bit of my packing done - almost all of my clothes & jackets are packed up, and some of my shoes. All that's left is bathroom stuff, the last of my clothes, and personal things I wanna bring along. I can't believe sunday is so soon @_!


►........I HONESTLY THOUGHT I HAD MORE TO SAY?/ i don't though. my bad guys. Here though, distract yourself with some nice icons and some 8track mixes.

in other news i make icons and spam the shit out of anatta_art.

wow this morning was awful! I had to find the place to get my work physical and it literally took me an hour and a half to find it. I was so fucking pissed off because the direction I got were totally wrong and I was so fucking pissed. Plus I had to be up at 8 which was terrible because I haven't woken up before 9/9:30 in forever.

Then I had to pee in a cup which is like the one thing I can NOT do, especially cause the lady there was calling me to get out of the bathroom every 2 or 3 minutes which made it even worse. IDK it took me forever my mom even came over on her lunch break to make sure I was ok because I was just so upset and pissed off about everything. Eventually I did and got to leave but by then it was like a little after 1pm and I had left the house that morning at 9am so I just was so tired and pissed and hungry it was just shitty.

I bought myself mcdonalds for lunch and played elite beat agents when I got home so I feel better now at least. also i'm going to see jess again tomorrow and we're gonna go get coldstone so yay!

SPEAKING OF ELITE BEAT AGENTS DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS GAME???? it's really fun but for some reason I can only play it on the normal & hard settings, easy is too confusing for me. IT DOESN'T GO WITH THE BEAT SO I ALWAYS FUCK UP lfmalfmao i just hate. anyway.
