Long after Vergil had repaid Dante for the car damages after he drove them off a cliff and was never allowed to drive ever again for the rest of his life, our story picks up again on a warm fall day with Dante screaming at his two best buddies in the whole wide world Vergil and Nero.

\"DUDE! I'm going on a date with TRISH! I've been trying to go out with that hot piece of ass for years!\" Dante said as he did a stupid little jig.

\"Yeah, okay that's great.\" because really Nero and Vergil didn't care.

\"This is the best. She said she was going to us to her favorite place and of course<\/i> I agreed because I am a true gentleman - maybe I should bring her roses, what do you think?\"

\"How about you do me a favor and punch her in the face for breaking my bike in 6th grade?\" said Vergil because in the 6th grade Trish totally stole and trashed his bike and then told him to stop crying because he was being a big baby.

\"Shut up Vergil no one cares about your bike.\" said Dante. \"I need good dating advice! I need to make an impression!\"

Nero sighed. \"Why are you asking us again? All we know about Trish is that she's a cold hearted bitch.\"

Dante ALMOST told Nero to shut up until he got a BRILLIANT IDEA! \"I've got a brilliant idea! Let's ask Kyrie for advice!\"

\"That is a terrible idea.\" growled Nero. But it didn't matter what he thought because Dante was already running down the street toward her house.

\"OI, GET BACK HERE!!\" he shouted, chasing after Dante.

Vergil just stood there like an idiot, wondering if he had to condemn himself to such a stupid afternoon. He decided not to, and went back home to curl up in his leopard print snuggie and watch Tokyo Mew Mew while Dante and Nero made retards of themselves.


Dante nearly punched through Kyrie's front door knocking, much to Nero's annoyance. Even more to his annoyance she opened the door.

\"Nero! And Dante, what are you two doing here?\" She said.

\"KYRIE! My darling, I need your help!\" Dante over zealously pointed at her, \"I need to know what I should do tomorrow night on my date with Trish!\"

\"Oh, is that all?\" Kyrie laughed.

Nero grumbled something but Dante decided to scream over him for the billionth time \"This is important! She's picking the place for dinner and so I need to be ready. Where do you think we'll go? Should I bring roses?\"

\"Hm...\" Kyrie thought for a bit, \"Well, she really likes this one French cafe. Maybe she'll take you there. And don't bring roses, I don't think she likes flowers...\"

\"Okay, I'll definitely bring the roses.\"

Kyrie and Nero stared at him like he had head trauma, but then they realized he probably did have head trauma and decided not to say anything.

\"But I don't know anything about French food! Or French!\" said Dante, suddenly sounding worried. \"Is pizza a french food?\"

\"Doesn't Vergil know French?\" Kyrie asked Nero.

\"Yeah, he does, where is that little jerk?\" Nero looked around, realizing that when they ran over to Kyrie's house he must've simply left Nero to suffer Dante's insanity alone.

\"Then lets go harass that stupid motherfucker! Thanks for your help Kyrie!\" Dante waved and ran off again.

\"Oh Nero before you go--\" Kyrie pulled him over and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. \"Have fun with your friends!\"

Nero nearly melted into a blushing glob on her front steps but managed to compose himself and stutter a pathetic goodbye before rushing off. Or as best as one runs off with jello knees.


Vergil heard Dante and Nero punching his front door, and shoved his shoujo DVD's and snuggie under the bed before going to see what the hell the two of them wanted.

\"What the hell do you two want?\" said Vergil.

\"Vergil, teach me French.\" said Dante, totally serious.

\"...Are you serious? No.\"

\"I taught you how to drive, this is the least you could do! How else will I impress Trish??\" Dante was nearly begging. BEGGING!

Vergil grumbled, because he still felt maybe a little bad about driving off a bridge with his car. \"Fine. Get in here.\"

The three of them sat in Vergil's living room and Vergil started explaining a lot of stuff about French, but since I don't actually know any French and this is a stupid fanfic you will have to use your imagination.

\"Okay, now repeat after me,\" says Vergil several minutes later. \"Bonsoir Mademoiselle.\"

\"Bonsewere Mademoistelle.\" repeats Dante.

Nero and Vergil beat him over the head with rock hard baguettes until he stops being a jerk and gets it right, which of course took a long time of tutoring in French that make Vergil and Nero want to continue punching Dante until he was punch for drinking.

Eventually, Dante stopped them. \"Okay, you two are completely useless. I am going home and will learn this myself!\"

\"Thank every god that ever was.\" said Vergil and Nero at the same time as Dante left and went back to his house.


The next night was the big night. The date with Trish, the one he had been trying to get for ages and so you can bet Dante was looking the best with his trademark red jacket and roses just for her. He had told Vergil and Nero that they should see how swag he was, but Vergil straight out told him no and to leave him alone, and Nero was hanging out with Kyrie and would rather cut off his magical arm then deal with him. Their loss, Dante told himself as he knocked on Trish's door.

Aha! And there she was, looking all nice! Dante cleared his throat and held out the roses, opened his mouth ready to impress...

\"Flowers, really? How cute.\" Trish said, taking them from his hand and dropping them in the bushes. \"Come on, we're going to the Chinese place a few blocks from here.\"

\"Wha-- Chinese? Why?\" Dante said stupidly. He had worked so hard to impress, FOR NOTHING?!

Well obviously. \"They have a great special today. Now hurry up will you?\" snapped Trish.

Dante nodded and the two of them had a nice walk over to the restaurant, getting the day's special noodle platter.

\"I didn't know you liked Chinese food.\" said Dante trying to make small talk.

\"Of course!\" exclaimed Trish. \"It's my favorite.\"

Her favorite? But Kyrie said it was that French place Dante thought to himself. Maybe she had lied? But no, Kyrie was so nice and honest! Maybe I had heard it wrong? I, the great Dante?! Am I actually retarded? Are what Vergil and Nero constantly say about me actually facts, and I just don't realize it? How could he have not known? Did his parents never tell him? Or maybe they didn't know either, maybe his whole family was stupid! But I'm Dante, I'm supposed to be the best! Does the world truly have no need for the likes of a beautiful white haired man like myself, am I truly meaningless in the grand scale of life and time?!

The noodle platter landing on the table broke Dante from his existential quandary, and he forgot all about it as the warm smell filled his nose.

\"Wow!\" said Dante, \"This looks delicious!\"

\"I told you dumbass.\" said Trish breaking her chopsticks, \"Now let's dig in!\"

And the two of them did and it was glorious.

Vergil, Nero, and Dante were old pals. Buddies since the start really, more like brothers! And not brothers in that close, cool military sense, but brothers in the, `I'M DANTE, SUCK MY DIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK` and `WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT IT'S 6AM GET THE FUCK OUT`

Either way, It was Vergil's birthday! And through some prying (see: abuse of smaller people) Dante and Nero realized all he wanted was a car. But why? He didn't know how to drive.... OR DID HE?

\"He must've been learning behind our backs!\" said Dante.

\"Dude, you're dumber than dicks. When the would he be going to get lessons? Who would even teach him? Nobody likes Vergil.\" Nero retorted.

Dante scratched his chin. This was true, Vergil was a real asshole and nobody liked him.

\"Maybe Kyrie? She likes everyone!\" Dante asked like a true troll.

Nero then EXPLODED INTO FLAMES but not really because this is a serious story. \"No.\" Nero said flatly. Kyrie was his girlfriend, and even though he trusted her, he didn't want to risk her hanging out with Vergil of ALL PEOPLE! (Though it would be better than hanging out with Dante.)

So they decided to ask Vergil himself about it.

Nero knocked on his door. \"WE KNOW YOU'RE HOME OPEN UP!\"

Grumbling, Vergil finally opened the door. \"What do you faggots want?\"

Nero scoffed, but Dante had remembered to put on extra swag to block the death scent of douche Vergil constantly threw at them. \"We didn't know you knew how to drive, Vergil you sly dog!\"

Vergil raised an eyebrow, looking at Dante as if he had done shrooms again. \"I don't.\"

\"Really?\" Nero said, trying to look surprised but really he's not.

\"Really. Now get out of my house.\" And Vergil slammed the door.

Dante tried to stop him but it was too late. So the two of them stood their, stroking their chins for a good minute, wondering why they were still friends with Vergil, but then they realized what would the 3 white guys be without their standard douche bag to balance out the swaggity swag and tsundere?

So they opened the door and kicked Vergil in the face.

\"DON'T JUST SHUT US OUTSIDE YOU JERK!\" Nero yelled at his friend's probably broken face.

\"OW WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK YOU FUCKERS<\/i>!?\"

\"YEAH! Now we're going to teach you how to drive, that way you can get a sweet car like us!\" Dante pointed his thumb to his chest looking proud for no good reason while Nero and Vergil stared at him like it was that time Dante broke an unopened bottle of champagne on the wall at New Years.

\"Wait, what!?\" Nero and Vergil said at the same time.

\"Oi, what, are you guys deaf now?\" Dante said still acting overly proud over nothing.

\"That's a stupid idea.\" Nero shot back.

Now Dante and Nero have had many parts where they were stroking their chins, thinking deeply about their life choices, and now it was Vergil's turn. He never liked being the only one who couldn't drive the car, and it usually resulted in him sitting in the back basically all the time. He had thought about learning, but no one would teach him and he couldn't figure out why. Now could be the perfect chance!

\"Let's do it.\"

\"Shut up Ner-- HEY, YOU MEAN IT?!\" Dante nearly screamed from excitement.

\"Yeah, why not?\"

Dante pumped his fists into the air with a great \"YAHOO!!\" and Nero facepalmed through his face, making a mental note to write his will when he went home.



Later that night, they all piled into Dante's hunk of junk car, because Nero threatened to jump off the roof if they so much touched his brand new baby for Vergil's first driving lesson. Vergil wiggled into the drivers seat, Dante in shotgun, and Nero scowling in the back.

\"Why are you wearing shades? You look like... well you look like your regular asshole self never mind.\"

\"Shut up Nero.\" said Dante. \"These shades look too good to be abandoned for our night on the town.\"

\"Can you see the road?\" Vergil asked with obvious concern.

\"Dude, it's fine, now look, everyone's buckled in, so start the car and back out of the driveway.\"

Vergil nodded and did what he was told, ignoring Nero taunting him from the backseat (\"You're gonna kill your cat man, maybe that little girl next door walking her puppy, don't mess up!\") and managed to get onto the street with only knocking over the trashcan.

\"You're a natural! Now drive to the bar and that'll be the lesson for the day.\"

\"Wait, that's it?\" Vergil looked confused. \"I expected more than that.\"

\"YOU WANT HIM TO DRIVE TO THE BAR!?<\/i>\"

Dante spoke completely ignoring Nero yet again, \"You have to drive down the street, make a left turn in a few blocks, maybe even a few rights, and park. That should be more than enough of a lesson.\"

Nero nearly broke into tears as Vergil put his foot on the gas because he forgot to put the car back into drive, and sent them backwards.

\"DUDE, ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?! Put it in drive you retard!\" Nero shouted.

\"Shit--\" Vergil finally fixed his mistake and started driving, going very slowly, because you know, he's never really driven before.

Dante didn't seemed bothered, laughing when Vergil nearly hit a parked car, leaving Nero to do all of the actual teaching.

\"Turn on your signal, they have right of way, okay, good you didn't kill us this time, now keep going straight for like, two blocks-- okay, there it is now turn right into the lot, there you go you stupid shit, now just go straight there's a space, turn, slowly slowlySLOWLY JESUS BACK UP YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE CAR, okay there that's better. Good job.\"

Dante let out a slow clap. \"I didn't realize what a good teacher you were Nero!\"

\"Fuck you.\" spat Nero. \"Tonight I get shotgun if you're going to be that way about it.\"

\"Nope, already called it.\" Dante said laughing and hopping out of the car.

\"Suck a dick!\"

Vergil got out of the car after the other two, but didn't realize he hadn't put the car in park or turned it off until it moved forward into a bush. Dante promptly freaked out about his car actually getting hurt and Nero was laughing his ass off.

\"DAMMIT VERGIL, why didn't you turn the fucking car off?!\"

\"Dude, I've never driven before.\" Vergil said deadpan, \"How was I supposed to know when my teacher<\/i> wasn't telling me shit?\"

Dante contemplated punching him in the face, but no, it was Vergil's birthday! \"I'd hit you if it wasn't your birthday jackass. You should be grateful.\" Said Dante.

Either way, they all went into the bar, stayed in, and drank profusely, because they could and that was all that mattered.

Somewhere after his fifth beer, Vergil looked deeply into Dante's eyes mid-conversation, placed his hand on his friend's shoulder and said

\"Dante, have I ever told you...... badonkadonk.\"

\"I know.\" Dante whispered.

\"FAGGOTS ON THE DANCE FLOOR!\"<\/big> Nero shouted from a few seats away.

\"WHERE?!\" Dante and Vergil said at the same time, looking around only to reason it was them.

Oh.

\"Alright! Enough of this!\" said Dante standing up. \"Let us continue Vergil's lesson number 2! Drunk driving around town to find chicks!\"

\"W-What?! Isn't that like... illegal?\" said Vergil.

\"No.\" said Nero, \"That's a ter--\"

Dante slapped his hand over Nero's mouth \"AN EXCELLENT IDEA, I KNOW NERO! Now let's go!\"

Nero groaned, but they were all sick of drinking in this shitty bar so they got back into the car, Dante practically throwing Nero into the backseat. Vergil turned the car on, and Dante gave the instructions on how to get out of the parking lot and back into town, and it seemed all was well. Vergil ended up on the curb at least three times, causing Nero to scream in his ear each time, before things started to get under control (or so they though because they were DRUNK1)

\"Man, thank god I wrote my will before this. We're totally going to die.\" said Nero.

Vergil just laughed, \"You actually did that? I guess it was probably a good idea...\"

Dante simply adjusted his shades and pulled a rose out of god knows where (but Nero and Vergil stopped questioning these things long ago) \"Ladies, ladies, just go with it. We'll be fine.\"

It was at that moment that the radio started playing the ultimate song:

Instantly the three of them began dancing in their seats, flailing like drunken idiots with broken limbs, the radio volume on full blast and the windows rolled down. It was a moment that was truly magical on all accounts, unprecedented in it's stupidity and level of bro bonding.

Then Vergil drove off a bridge, but it was okay because they were the demons.

It started out with me going to an arabic class?? I sit in and its me, a few people I know from around campus, and <\/a>streetrat<\/b><\/a><\/span>. We're all goofing around, even the professor isn't taking anything seriously. So then we start watching the Simpsons in arabic before we leave. Walking home we go around this dock, and then we go running around empty Philadelphia, yelling about how we've always wanted to run down these super crowded streets when they were totally empty.

I go back to my room, and realize I can't take arabic anymore because it meets at a really weird time on mondays & wednesdays so I go to tell lara I can't be in the class anymore. On the way, I run into Jeff, Troy, and Britta from Community<\/i>. They're bickering but find this weird maze behind the school. Jeff and Troy go in trying to race each other to the end, and Britta runs in after because she wants to see what this is all about. The whole maze is really complicated, sometimes it's crazy paths on the sides of hills looking over huge expanses of empty land, and other times it's legit in a tall, well cut rose bush maze. In a few random spots along the way, there are these doors. I open them up, look inside, and it's the inside of a house. You can't go inside, but you see a main entrance way that's sloped and has sink faucets on each level, a bloody surgery room, a closet, and at one point a room with a woman laying on a hospital bed. Me and Britta think it's weird but Jeff and Troy are racing to the end.

Eventually, we go through another set of traditional maze, across a bridge, and open the last door, upon which we can go inside. We realize it was the house we had been seeing through the other doors. We celebrate for a little bit about making it to the end, and somehow Troy disappeared and now Abed was around. We explore a little up the ramped entrance way down a hallway. Jeff and Britta are cracking jokes about something, and when we turn the corner we see a flight of stairs and a man right there. He stares at us, and yells that we know too much, pulling out huge gardening sheers. He chases us back down to the entrance way, and I dive into a supply closet for scissors to stab him. When I get out of the closet, the guy has already lost his weapon and is fighting with Jeff. Britta is trying to help but it doesn't really work, so she runs into another room trying to find a weapon. She runs into the room where the woman is laying on a hospital bed. The room is white but because of the light everything looks yellowy. The woman just stares, and then the butler walks up behind us with a gun.
\"You've given me the perfect chance\" he says, \"I've always wanted to kill the man who did this.\"

The butler runs into the room and we follow him, and the crazy guy has stabbed Jeff with a syringe. \"Hah! Now he has the disease!\"
This enrages the butler, who shoots the the guy in the head. We celebrate for winning the fight, and even the girl in the hospital bed gets up to thank us for what we've done. She and the butler invite us for a big dinner as thanks. I look over, and see the supposedly dead man's bloody hand moving. I yell at the guy who still has the gun, and we go over to see that the attacker is talking to himself saying \"doo be doo be do\" over and over. So the butler shoots him in the head a second time and we go on our way. The butler describes the disease Jeff has is what the woman in the hospital bed has, it slowly deteriorates your body until you are like a living, rotting corpse. The have the antidote but he'll have to stay. Everyone agrees he should.

It cuts to dinner, there's some narrator talking over everyone sharing something that looks like a big traditional thanksgiving meal. At some point Jeff obnoxiously drops a tray of shots because he's already feeling the effects of the disease. Everyone from the community study group is there and a bunch of other random people, it's a huge table. Anyway halfway through eating Britta gives a big toast, everyone cheers, and then I woke up.

I've done so much here and met so many new people and I just see the world differently and man. It's... it's just crazy. There's no other way to say it. For the handful of you who are younger than me on my f-list, try to study abroad. It's honestly one of the most life-changing things ever.

There were ups and downs, but I regret nothing. This semester was worth every second of work for it, and I'll miss Amsterdam like burning.

I was originally ticked at her because she sent everyone who missed class last week had to do these extra readings and if we didn't, she'd take points off. So I did the readings and then reread them today before class, expecting the worst.

Instead, class was actually pretty chill. We had some good discussions and (thankfully) I got to participate a lot. I was kinda doing it just so I didn't feel like all that time I spent reading for that class wasn't for nothing - a kinda IN YO FACE BITCH! move but not really. She also went around the class to talk about what our research papers were going to be on and when I told my idea she really liked it so I was like yay! I don't have to stress about this one as much as the other paper I have to do that is literally murdering me!

well the vending machine ate 40cents when i tried to get a snickers BUT THE PART OF CLASS AFTER THE BREAK WAS OK TOO LFMAO... kinda made up for it. i just wasn't so rageful etc.

after class I meet with my prof with the other kids in my group cause we all have to present together, and talked about what we had to do... it's pretty straight forward, thank god. one less thing to worry about.

And after that she was like \"Oh Kat!\" and I was like UH SHIT WHAT.... and she thanked me for doing the readings<\/i><\/b>.
I was absolutely blown away - I've never had a teacher thank me for something like that before. She said she was glad I had done them because my contributions in class that day were really good and helped move the discussion along really well, and I just couldn't stop smiling as I left the room. It made me feel really good that the work I had put in made her happy, and her life a little bit easier. Even though this class and the readings drive me insane, the professor really is such a great woman. My grade in this class isn't so hot at the moment, but I think I can pull it up with this next assignment, my presentation and my final. Yosh!


also i did my Islamic law presentation today... and the woman who holds class in the room after us kept trying to interrupt me while I was presenting which is literally the most annoying thing in the whole universe. The first group ran long and I was last in mine, so my presentation ended up being mad rushed and I don't think anyone got anything out of it LMFAO. Oh well. At least it's done, and my professor can't mark me down because A HUGE BITCH PROFESSOR KEPT INTERRUPTING ME. So yeah.

Oh and I fell on my bike on the ice on my way to my Islamic law class. My luck with bikes is quite impressive. this semester is done in a month. how the fuck has that happened? i don't know. it's too weird to think about. thanksgiving is this week, and the only time it crosses my mind is when my parents bring it up to me. which is really weird - i fucking love thanksgiving & christmas, this whole holiday season really. instead i'm having one of the most stressful semesters of my life. my professors expect me to write papers that should be good enough for publishing. i mean what the shit? any little mistake could cost me big time, and it's driving me insane. i'm trying not to stress or think about it but lmfao, i'm here to study. sob. i was so looking forward to this being an easier semester.

i also realize, christmas is about a month away. what what what the fuck. i don't have good presents for my family yet. i'm going to have to go shopping this weekend. i also have to go to the anne frank house, the rembrant house, the house of bols and the tropenmuseum all before i go. that should be doable, especially if i do most of them in one day. i was thinking about this weekend, going on a museum splurg and getting tibetan food for dinner while breanna was in prauge. that way i don't have to worry about her judging me for eating by myself for dinner. or spending money on going out. ha!

-Arrive in Porto at 2:35PM.
-Catch the soonest train to Lisbon, and with any luck I'll be there by 5-5:30PM.

SATURDAY:
-Ok I have two options: either stay the rest of the day in Lisbon with everyone OR get on the train back to Porto, spend the day exploring that city, and reserve a room in a really cheap hostel near the airport so I can make it in time for my flight early the next morning. -Get to the airport in time for my 9:55AM flight back to Amsterdam.
-Be in Amsterdam at about 1:30PM. Board the train from Eindhoven airport back to Centraal and go home.

THINGS TO DO IN DOWNTIME:
-Convince Emily&others to have Thanksgiving dinner as an Indonesian Rice Tafel dinner or a potluck at Funen.
-Do research for my two final papers, start on rough drafts, do all my homework, visit the Anne Frank house and Rembrant House, and do more souvenir shopping for my family.
-OH GET DINNER AT THAT TIBETAN PLACE and some chinese food while breanna is in prauge ohohoho i am a-cravin'.
-keep up with splenda & make some icons since i have so many damn caps now.
