Tech Video: Rich Hickey: Hammock-Driven Development

I had seen this Rich Hickey video some time ago, and thought it was very good. Came across it again today, so decided to blog about it. The shortest summary of it is that he recommends thinking more (not just blindly jumping into doing stuff - because "we have to ship next week").

But there's a lot more to it than just a hand-waving statement. He talks a lot about the issues involved, his own experiences, and gives specific steps.
