It all started with episode 04 of Kamen Rider Gotchard. A cruel young girl, but charismatic as hell, who captivated me like Yodonna did from her first appearance in Mashin Sentai Kiramager...

For around ten episodes, I remained fascinated by Lachesis, despite her evil nature (at least, I believe so...), to use the chorus of a famous rock hit from the 80s, she shot through my heart and she's to blame, giving love a bad name...

But the turning point comes in episode 15 where I understand that she is not purely bad. Then, over the course of the episodes, I understand that she was not the most ruthless, but the most human of The Three Abyssalis Sissters... She ended up escaping the influence of her creator, finding refuge at the Alchemists Academy and Kyoka, the teacher of the one who I feared would end up finishing her, wants to make her a human... Which will never happen after a tragedy which reminded me of the penultimate episode of Mashin Sentai Kiramager.

But where Yodonna had disappeared in total indifference, including to those who had caused her death, Lachesis was at least able to be understood, which means that if her final fate was sad, it is at least not for me. remained in the throat like Yodonna's had been (and believe me, I still remember this feeling, even more than three years later…)…
Even if Lachesis will not have, apart from the upcoming Final Stage and possible V-Cinext, straight away, unlike Yodonna (which was unexpected for me at the time), she will still remain alive in the hearts of more than one…

Exceptionnally, I don’t post for some fansub release, but for some request.

Maybe you don’t know it, but I’m a simp fan of Yodonna, the charismatic villainess antiheroine of Mashin Sentai Kiramager and I subbed in french the first three spin-offs about her redemption.

Yodonna The Final was released a few weeks ago and there are no english fansubs currently. It should be sooner or later, but just in case, if some tokusatsu fansubbers were interested, I could provide the timings I’ve done yet for this raw.

Anyway, I hope to see this last spin-off to be subbed, because it would let everybody know that Yodonna eventually found some people who could understand her and make her smile, as you can see it…

Fist, if everything’s fine, this weekend, you should have a new release. But this is not the purpose of the topic…

Actually, I’m looking for a japanese-english translator to start a new project, not under the [Johnny-englishsubs] banneer. I’m just willing to provide my help by timing the series (I did the timing for 6 episodes yet), the rest would be up to the translator or the team.

Not only I can provide the timing, but also the karaoke made by someone else and the link to the lines of the teasers (I found a blog where a lot of teasers lines are transcribed). And of course, all the raws (that I didn’t encode).

If a translator/a team would be curious and interested in translating an untranslated anime (less than 50 episodes), you can contact me on the blog and I’ll talk to you about all you need to know.

Tonight, I will write a short post to talk about a news maybe you have heard yet before, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid will be released on Blu-ray discs by Funimation!

If it has no incidence on my french fansubs, however, for my english ones, it is the case, because the specials will be included on the discs.

Consequently, this Sunday, at 07:00 pm, I will delete the files of the Specials 05-06 I had translated. By the way, it will be Sunday, at 07:00 pm in France, so beware the jetlag.
