Eleven pm does not fall under the heading of not late. Ten pm - maybe even ten-thirty - might fall under that heading, or at least be an acceptable time, even if I am not feeling as good as I could be.

And cute little "jokes" about time only come off well if you look like Jack Harkness. Which, really, not even the local equivalent. Not unattractive just... not even close.

Dear Torchwood fandom,

I may be biased because I am a Gwen fan.

I may be biased because I am not a huge Jack/Ianto fan and think they could both do better.

I may be biased because it is my fondest wish to see Jack in a het relationship at some point because he is not exclusively gay. For the record this doesn't have to be Gwen, though I can't see anything wrong with it.

But I don't think there's any reason to call Gwen a slag. Period. She's human and makes mistakes. Doesn't make her a whore.

The words "I'm not into threesomes" (paraphrased) would never, ever, ever pass the delectable lips of Jack Harkness.

He's had two that we know about in canon (one mentioned in TW, the other mentioned in DW) and that's not even including the ever so blatant Nine/Rose/Jack subtext.

It's just not a line Jack would ever utter seriously. And I don't think he would jokingly either.

Considering the state of some TW fanfic, this is even more disappointing.

That meme is annoying but the version that says something like "if you don't post this meme, you don't care about gay rights" is as hateful as those who don't actually care about gay rights. It makes people doubt themselves if they find the meme annoying or, you know, just don't want to post it for other reasons.

I know there's a lot of (inexplicable, but I'm biased the other way, admittedly - it's Patrick Dempsey) fandom hatred for Derek and by association Patrick but honestly who takes The National Enquirer seriously for a second?

And really, a "Marlon Brando style freak out" and making Kate Walsh cry? Sounds like made up crap in and of itself. ETA: Or at least highly exaggerated.
