Findroid is a third-party native Jellyfin app for Android.
It all started with a school project, we had to create a mobile app using Expo (React Native). I created a Jellyfin app to browse and play movies and series. I posted my work on the Jellyfin subreddit and the response was very positive.
I decided to take it a step further, I stared learning Kotlin to begin developing the app in native Android code. I followed a Kotlin and Android development course on Udacity. And went on from there. A couple of months later I released the first version on the Google Play store and made a new post on reddit with again very positive reactions.
