(IDK, I&nbsp;LIKE&nbsp;THE&nbsp;LENS&nbsp;FLARE), and the actual science of it is presented as such that you don't even really care at first if that could ever possibly work because it's SO&nbsp;FREAKING&nbsp;COOL. &nbsp;The movie also is savvy enough to not take itself too seriously and a lot of hilarity ensues because of it. &nbsp;But the characters, OMG&nbsp;THE&nbsp;CHARACTERS.<br \/><br \/>&lt;33333333<br \/><br \/>Okay, whoever casted this thing rocks. &nbsp;I&nbsp;had my doubts about Sylar-Spock and Captain James T. Kirk, but they turned out to be the best in the whole movie.&nbsp;&nbsp;Seriously, I&nbsp;did not go in the theatre expecting to like Spock at all (Zachary Quinto fangirls = ewww) but DAMN! &nbsp;He just had this demeanor and way of carriying himself that made me cheer when Uhura started bossing him around and making out with him (OMFG&nbsp;NEW&nbsp;OTP).&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, he looked really good in that uniform. &nbsp;Like, REALLY&nbsp;GOOD. &nbsp;(I&nbsp;think it might have been those pants and boots.) &nbsp;But yeah, Kirk was entertaining, especially in his obnoxious, smartass kind of way that usually turns me off to characters like that but he was good enough to pull it off. (STARDATE&nbsp;WHATEVER. OH&nbsp;KIRK, ILU&nbsp;SO&nbsp;MU&nbsp;MUCH) &nbsp;And John Cho was just a BAMF. (LOL&nbsp;FENCING) and the movie needed more of him. &nbsp;Uhara was the best though. &nbsp;Strong, female lead, hot and badass enough to not let herslef be shunted off to the sidelines while the boys play out the story. YEEEEESSSSS. &nbsp;(Even though I&nbsp;feel they did kinda cut her out of the end there.) &nbsp;McCoy said his famous lines and just THIS&nbsp;MOVIE&nbsp;=&nbsp;SO&nbsp;MUCH&nbsp;LOVE!!!!!<br \/><br \/>I&nbsp;could go on but I&nbsp;would just be rambling even more. &nbsp;What did surprise me, (BESIDES&nbsp;HOW&nbsp;MUCH&nbsp;I&nbsp;LOVED&nbsp;THIS&nbsp;MOVIE) was the fact that the ship was Spock\/Uhura and not Kirk\/Uhura, which is what I&nbsp;totally believed it would be. (Hispanic, Japanese-American, black, and Jewish I&nbsp;guess.)<br \/><br \/>4) The Japanese-American girl is the team leader.<br \/><br \/>5) It's set in LA<br \/><br \/>6)&nbsp;There is a canon lesbian relationship between two of the characters. &nbsp;That isn't shuntered offscreen or used as a soapbox for the authors to preach about gay rights. &nbsp;They are in an open relationship and no one (in their team) has a problem with it. &nbsp;Their relationship with each other gets just as much focus as the straight couples. &nbsp;Also, Karolina and Xavin are hot.<br \/><br \/>7)&nbsp;The story is about the kids of these six families who are basically the superhero crime-lords of the West coast. &nbsp;When they found out that their parents were basically planning to destroy the world, they took down their parents. &nbsp;Yeah, hardcore.<br \/><br \/>8) Gert and Chase are pretty much the most awesome couple ever.
