About this site

This website was first published in the fall of 2021 in Tucson, Arizona. It was built on a self-hosted server using WordPress and the Salient theme. More recently, it was rebuilt on Ghost(Pro) using the Kyoto theme.

Testing was conducted on various devices using latest versions of Firefox, Edge, Chrome, and Safari. Any issues with the site or its accessibility can be submitted as a GitHub issue.

It also uses less carbon than about 73% of the internet.

Components

The site also uses Plausible analytics, largely to see when and where traffic happens. No user data is collected from it.

Web fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, which is a privacy respecting mirror of Google Fonts that doesn't track you. The font stack is:

Blog posts have comments provided by utterances, which links each post to a GitHub issue in my portfolio repository.

The robots.txt file blocks a whole lot of bots.
