PREPAREDNESS OF Commercial Bank IN THE 21ST CENTURY

21 st century is the world of competition especially for financial institutions like banks. Today... more 21 st century is the world of competition especially for financial institutions like banks. Today's banks face a diversity of new product and services in both local and global markets. To be prepared in 21 st century, every bank needs to focus on other relative industries. This is the age of modern technology so that every bank has to focus on unique product and services like personal checking product, personal loans for luxurious goods, visa/master card gifts on purchase, smart corporate banking, M-banking, Online banking & 24/7 Phone banking facility, direct deposit facility, online bills pay facility to compete with other modern banks or relative rivals to be competitive from relative rivals. To provide reliable & smooth services, banks should maintain expert IT team, secure web server for online transaction along with strong infrastructure. At present date, customer needs quick & transparent services integrated with all modern banking facilities. NBL is now a far away from modern (21 st century) banking because of having lack of new product diversification, modern technology and multicultural grounds. Besides, there was continuous rising of new rivals in the industry due to continuous financial structural changes. A modern bank with an updated banking platform can satisfy customers more strappingly than banks with average banking platform like NBL. An infrastructural developed bank along with highly developed strategies can forces all related team to achieve the selected milestone in 21 st century world. Presently, NBL has mixed quality about its preparedness for the changing banking world. But, to survive and cope with the changes it must change its total operational system and approach it is presently conserving. But it has the impressive fundamental base of 30 years of glorious operations to make a suitable bank providing 21 st century banking services.

We are really happy to have such a presentation of challenging and interesting like this presentation & also thanks to you for making us worthy for corporate. Our presentation topic is "Signaling Theory in Bangladesh". We have learned many things from this topic which will help us in future to conduct as an analyst of finance. There were some obstacles we have faced at the time of collecting data about our topic. But we have overcome all the obstacles by the endeavor effort by each member of our group and tried our best to give an overview of our topic. We the group "Epimetheus" tried our best to make this presentation attractive, impeccable, interesting, informative and enjoyable by the help of electronic and print media in association with our honorable teacher, mentor, counselor, instructor and advocate Md. Omar Faruque. We are really grateful to him. We had limitations at the time preparing presentation. So mistakes may occur in our demonstration of our presentation.
