[BSG] Daybreak p.1

A.K.A. 1/3 of the last episode.

I have but 4 things to say:

(Actually, I have a lot more, but these are the things that jumped out of the screen out at me. I'm going to rewatch shortly and carefully listen without shouting at the screen this time around.)

• OMG PILOTS FIRST MEETING EXACTLY like half a million fan fics out there with Lee and Kara all nervous and twitchy and HOTLY LOOKING AT EACH OTHER, including Zak all "don't steal this girlfriend, brother" because he so knows.
• Callback to season 1 by Gaius to Lee being all jealous about Captain Thrace.
• Lee being the FIRST to volunteer to help Daddy and Kara.
• And the thing with Laura and her family, awwwwwwwwww.

The first 20 mins or so (the initial flashbacks) went back without any commercials, and then the last 35 mins had commericals every 6 minutes, it seemed. I have no clue (DON'T SPOIL ME!) where this is actually really going to end. But PILOTS! are back in uniform (hey, handwaving to how easily Lee tossed the presidency aside... who's going to look at for the rest of humanity that didn't volunteer? WHO CARES, LEE IS BACK IN UNIFORM NEXT TO KARA AND DADDY) and planning strategies!

I'm verra excited for next week, yet sad and unwilling for it to be over, yet.
