Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) is a standardized automotive protocol that defines a common application layer across various low-level communication protocols such as ISO 15765 (ISO-TP), Ethernet, and K-Line. iWave’s UDS stack includes comprehensive APIs for managing diagnostic services, implementing both the application layer (ISO 14229-1) and session layer (ISO 14229-2). Engineered for reliability and flexibility, the stack enables efficient communication with vehicle ECUs for diagnostic operations.
