Idea: Reverse Tag Search

Heya, Love this tool so far! (its made things helpful trying to find where I save what where)

When I am tagging multiple files with a singular tag, I find myself trying to tag items that I've already assigned the desired tag to.

An Idea I had was to create a way to reverse what files you see based on the selected tag to make the process easier, instead of only seeing files that have the corresponding tag ticked.

ex: I tagged all of artist 1 and artist 2's work with 'artist1' & 'artist2'. Now I want to see all the files that have not been tagged yet in order to start tagging for artist 3's work. All I need to do now is enable the reverse-search toggle for any files tagged with 'artist1' & 'artist2', and now the board is less cluttered and easier to find the corresponding files. Plus, I don't risk myself accidently tagging files already tagged with 'artist1' & 'artist2' with 'artist3'.

Thanks for the hard work you've put into this project! ~Hupukon (OrangeMario)

PS: Side question: If I have other suggestions, should I make them as different topics?

You'll be happy to know I actually have two planned features along these lines!

  1. I'm going to add the ability to exclude tags by alt clicking on them (or something along those lines), which will show everything that doesn't have a given tag
  2. I want to implement the following filters:
    1. "Show All Untagged" which shows all items that have zero tags
    2. "Show Not Manually Tagged" which is the same as above, except it includes items that only have auto-tags

As for other suggestions, at the moment, since the app is so small, it's pretty informal. I might come up with a system in the future, but for now, you're free to just jam whatever suggestion in here.

Thanks for trying the app out :)

Hey, just figured I should give you a quick heads up; I just updated the app with a new tag exclusion feature! You can now exclude tags by alt clicking the tag (or selecting "Exclude" in the context menu)

Hopefully this is what you were looking for!

p.s. The app should auto-update with this (if I implemented it correctly)

Thank you for keeping me up to date, I just caught wind of your message this evening!
And the auto-update sorta works. Here's the order of things that occurred on my end during the process, if your curious:

- Opened exe
- Checked around for settings and other features. (they were not implemented yet)
- Closed exe
- Antivirus activated and scanned for the installer (was deemed a-ok!).
- Reopened exe
- Antivirus activated and scanned for the installer again (was deemed a-ok again!).
- Checked around for settings and other features.  (New version was successfully downloaded!)

And this Exclude extension works like I'd imagine! its going to make organization a lot more of a breeze.
Thanks again for the time and effort you put into this program, btw!
