It's true that there's a difference. Until now, Mc has been more passive, and now they're taking a more active role. They initiate a lot of choices. Yet I didn't feel I'd made them much more mature. It's a childish choice to want to go back to the camp, in the chaos when there's danger. Mc has a tantrum and Mickhail points it out. As for the lock-picking part, I thought Mc being so impress that they almost forgot their mission was a sign of their childish side...

Also, do you think Mc's vocabulary is too advanced?

Whatever it is in my mind. It's an act. Mc plays at being big and strong, mature, but they're going to fall apart eventually. Because yes, they are a child.

I hope you'll continue your journey with me, even if Mc seems to you a little out of character at the moment. πŸ₯°

I can see your points on what you've said and they do make sense, especially when you have a variety of personalities your MC can take, and I 100% agree with your point about it being a childish choice to go back, I wanted to say that I felt the Plushie path really showed us that but didn't want my initial post to be too long.

I think that may be it, I know that there are certain choices to show that our MC *is* quite intelligent but for the situation they're in and at the age they are it does seem a little bit advanced, for example; β€œNo doctor would be reckless enough to carry poison into a camp without an antidote. I may be small, but I’m not stupid. And you may not care about others, but you wouldn't risk your own life with something that dangerous.” - There's nothing wrong with that on it's own, it's a great piece of dialogue, I just think that from the way we know the MC talks, and that they're only really used to speaking to their family that it's like you said, a little too advanced, only in the way it's phrased really, I could see them saying the same thing but in a slightly less clear/mature way? If that makes sense xD

But yes! I will absolutely still be following, I adore this IF and have tons of positive things to say about it, this was just one or two that I was wondering about that's all <3

I have to admit that this particular sentence gave me a hard time. πŸ˜„
