I haven't had this many laughs from a game in a long time. The dialogue is witty and the character interactions are flavorful, even with side characters like Fio. I adore Jem with all my heart, he's such a sweetheart. Please let me adopt his cats ;_;
I say that, but I actually ended up loving all four love interests, which is very rare for me. They all have such unique personalities and Yunie meshes so well with them. Speaking of Yunie, I love her! She's intelligent, honest, and spunky when she needs to be, but is aware of her weaknesses. I found her to be a very relatable protagonist. Her relationship with Fio is also really sweet, it's nice to see wholesome female friendships (though I feel a little sus about Fio).
The graphics and GUI are beautiful. I spent some time just sitting and admiring everything and wondering how one person could put together such a polished demo. The writing is solid and engaging (I imagine writing a detective mystery must be difficult, but you pulled it off really well), the mini-games are fun, the characters are memorable and bounce off each other well, the MC is likable, and the graphics are beautiful (I read that you commissioned all the art. I can't imagine how expensive that must have been!)
I had a lot of fun playing Mirage Noir's demo and liked it more than some commercial otome games I played on Steam. I look forward to experiencing the full story and romancing the guys, so hopefully the kickstarter will be fully funded. I'll definitely donate what I can for such a fun and well-made game.
