If the bulk densities of the two sets of specimens are within 2.0 percent of each other, then the results sre comparable. If the results are not within 2.0 percent of each other, then the tests ced to be repeated using more or fewer blows on the utematic hammer to achieve a comparable density. Preparation of Aggregates—Dry aggregates to constant mass at 105 to 110°C (221 10 230°F) and separate the aggregates by dry-sieving into the desired size fractions. Caring is to be continued in the mixing bowl until the procalculated weight of $0 percent solvent loss or more has been obtained.
