The study offers a significant contribution to the body of literature using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study extends the original TAM with the SIMS usage experience as an external variable. An online questionnaire was employed for data collection and a quantitative method was used for data analysis. Questionnaires were prepared and distributed using the KoBo Toolbox. The participants of this study were third-year students from all academic departments at the institute of social work. At the end of the data collection period, 112 questionnaires were collected. Only 100 (89%) questionnaires yielded valid responses thus considered for analysis and 12 (11%) questionnaires did not yield valid responses, excluded from the analysis. The findings of this study revealed that the original TAM construct positively affects the behavior intention to use SIMS. Similarly, the study recognized that the SIMS usage experience positively influenced the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use SIMS. The finding of this study offered a better understanding of evaluating and predicting the student’s behavioral intention toward SIMS usage at the institute. Furthermore, the study suggested that the Institute must ensure and improve support for students on the use of SIMS services without increased complications in the SIMS. Finally, the study explicated recommendations for theory and practice.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The study employed the Activity Theory (AT) as a theoretical framework using the first triangle of the activity system, which includes three components - Subject-Tool-Object (STO).
This study adopted an anonymous online survey for data collection and the quantitative method was used to analyze data. Additionally, the survey
questionnaires were prepared and distributed using the KoBo Toolbox. The sample size of 79 (96%) questionnaires was considered from a subgroup of institute students, which includes a Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations and Public Management (BLRPM), an Ordinary Diploma in Labor Relations and Public Management (ODLRPM), and a Basic Technician Certificate in Labor Relations and Public Management (BTCLRPM) from the labor studies departments.
The findings revealed that the student’s opinions specified that overall students were more interested in learning activities using the Google
Classroom platform as a learning tool and they managed to achieve learning goals in the ICT module. Alternatively, the findings from ANOVA comparing the differences between the groups of students concerning the use of Google Classroom as a learning tool revealed that the
ODLRPM and BTCLRM students demonstrated higher online/blended learning experiences of using Google Classroom for the ICT module
compared to BLRPM students. In conclusion, the study calls for institute policymakers to plan and offers the use of web 2.0 tools such as Google
Classroom to facilitate online/blended teaching and learning at the institute.

The study adopts the PRISMA approach to screening the selection of journal articles and review papers according to the research aims and the inclusion criteria. The journal articles and review papers were extracted and stored in Microsoft Excel and Google Scholar, Academic. Microsoft, Semantic Scholar, Elsevier, and Emerald Insight databases searched relevant documents using formulated keywords. A statistical technique was applied using the M.S. Excel analysis tool (PivotTable and an independent t-Test) to analyze data and determine the differences between teachers and students. The review revealed the evidence that the majority of the studies were primarily focused on the individual developing countries and results from other developing countries were not considered. In addition, the foremost challenges in the transition to online teaching and learning during the covid-19 pandemic were inadequate skills and training, inadequate Internet/Infrastructure, lack of supporting resources and lack of online student engagement and feedback. Finally, the independent t-test reveals there is no statistically significant difference in challenges in the transition to online teaching and learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Both teachers and students encounter similar challenges. The systematic review raised concerns that higher learning needs to effectively implement long term strategies and support teachers and students in getting into online teaching and learning. The comprehensive literature searches are made from extensive collections from international journals, conference reports, organizations' websites, reports, and related documents which were then classified. A total number of 32 (78%) articles were incorporated for review. The review shows that the innovative technologies positively stimulate the innovative social work practice (E-Social Work) and credit an application of ICT to enrich social workers and practitioners with practical skills to carry out their work more effectively using several ICTs tools and online services like video and telephone therapy, e-counseling, e-therapy, email, and social networking sites. On the other hand, the review reveals that unsatisfactory ICT competencies and literacy among Tanzania's social workers and practitioners occasioned by limited training and readiness to embrace the new technology applications; some degree of evidence associated with the practices use of ICT and tools appeared to be a key resistance stagnant the integration of ICTs into practice. Further, the researcher suggests that social workers and practitioners' e-readiness accept new processes, procedures, structures, policies, and standards that leverage the capability of familiarizing themselves with technological transformation and new standards for the use of technology. Furthermore, as regards the future research area more empirical evidence as well as e-readiness awareness and capacity building is required.
