Following the nineteenth century Slavic movement in the nearby countries and Europe and gaining access to the network of other periodicals and by correspondents too, The Glas Crnogorca Weekly was able to present to its domestic reders the latest news about music and culture in the Balkans and Europe and follow the progress of other Cultural and Music Associations and individuals, pointing on their relations with Montenegro. Distribution of The Glas Crnogorca Weekly in Europe, parts of Asia and United States was also significant for the editorial approach and the quantity of information which were published on its pages. The Glas Crnogorca Weekly, among other nineteenth century Montenegrin periodicals and arhive material, represents a significat and unavoidable literature in the research process of the Montenegrin cultural and music history.

Artists like Francesco Penso ‘Cabianca’ and Tripo Kokolja, in the late XVII and XVIII c. introduced hallmark of baroque expressiveness and movement in their work in Kotor Cathedral of St. Tryphon and Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rocks in Perast. Presence of deep music symbolism throughout vibrant forms in the sculptures of Angelic orchestra in sacristy of Kotor Cathedral or singing Heavenly choir with instruments on the walls of Marian sanctuary in church-island in Perast can be seen as the part of outspread expression of reconcile with the old forms, and give us a proof of effort and intent of the Catholic church and its Council Fathers to maintain, preserve and develop its belongings – in harmony.
