Due to the internet journalism created along the way, masses can reach news both easier and faster. Quantitative in-crease of information in the Internet environment has caused com-petition between internet journalists. This competition has dragged along new reporting techniques. The most debated and trending of these techniques is “Click-Oriented News” named as “Clickbait”:
The aim of “Clickbait News” is to increase the number of clicks by drawing attention to the content of news and directing visi-tors to a certain internet page. In our study, we will examine “Fanatik” and “Fotomac” sports newspaper with the highest click rates of Turkey using content analysis method, and we will evaluate them within the framework of the media ethics.
