Got questions? We’ve answered the ones we hear most.
iSkydive Jersey Shore operates out of Lakewood Township Municipal Airport, 1900 Cedar Bridge Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Lakewood itself is inland, but real Jersey Shore beach towns like Point Pleasant Beach are only about 10 miles away, roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car.
About 66 miles, roughly an hour and fifteen minutes by car depending on traffic. It’s marketed as a short drive from Philadelphia, but plan for over an hour, especially with summer beach-season traffic.
Atlantic Ocean views along the coastline, the barrier islands and inlets that define the Jersey Shore, and the shoreline towns below on a clear day.
It’s new. iSkydive Jersey Shore’s launch at Lakewood Municipal Airport marked the return of skydiving to Lakewood for the first time in about 50 years, so it’s a genuinely new option for the area rather than a longtime fixture.
Yes. iSkydive Jersey Shore is a natural add-on for a beach weekend, bachelorette or bachelor trip, or proposal, with dedicated birthday and marriage proposal packages and the ocean as the backdrop.
iSkydive Jersey Shore is reachable by public transit from both Philadelphia and New York City, in addition to driving. Driving is still the faster option for most visitors, but it’s a real alternative if you don’t have a car.
It can. Coastal weather along the Jersey Shore, summer thunderstorms, ocean fog, and occasional nor’easters in the fall, can ground jumps for a stretch. Delays can also happen due to air traffic control or aircraft maintenance. We do our best to notify you at least two hours before your scheduled time, but sometimes changes happen last minute. We always build some buffer time into the 2 to 4 hour experience window.
Yes. There’s an extra fee for guests over 200 pounds, and the maximum weight limit is 240 pounds. All clothing and gear count toward total weight, and everyone is weighed on arrival. Weight and equipment limits are set by manufacturer specifications and FAA guidelines, not by iSkydive.
